A veru cool locally owned hostel. The staff are super friendly and like a family. They make you feel very welcome to Budapest and are very knowledgeable about the city. They have cool events and good deals.

Amazing! Some hostel staffs are also travellers and they won't let you feel you are alone there. They have washmachines and drier if you need. The hostel common area is superb, you will feel like home once you get to know each other. This is one of the most memorable stay of mine at Budapest.

Nice hostel on great location. Everything is clean and tidy. Staff is very friendly and helpfull, they answered all of our questions and gave us great tips.

Unfriendly personnel when arriving and leaving (same guy).
Cleanliness was what you would expect of a youth hostel.
Unfortunately we didn't get much sleep due to bad sound insulation and people shouting in the common room until 2 am. In the end, we switched the aircon to full blast to drown out the noise and get some sleep.response / report this review -

Good ambient, cheap and confortable for an hostel, a bit quiet. With kitchen and tools. The bad is that is far from the turistic zone of Budapest, must use subway.

Only stopped in for a drink at the bar. Decent cocktails and obviously a lot of travelers stay here and enjoy the nightclub in back. Bartenders are friendly and make a good show of making the drinks.

In the center of town and friendly staff, there is a bar/night club underneath though so bring ear plugs.

Perfect. My group had two teachers (including me) and 16 students between 18 and 20 years old. We wanted a low price and a great location. We got those. I expected, however, that to get both price and location we'd have to sacrifice something. We didn't. The bunks were sturdy and clean. The main space was artsy and quaint but big enough for our whole team to relax. On the last night, we cooked a group meal and found all the facilities to be big enough and even comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and in perfect repair. We interacted with at least five different staff people including the owner and each one was friendly, flexible, patient and helpful. If your goal is a trip like mine, you really could not do better. Enjoy it!
