Stayed at the hotel for 4 nights in November 2017. Excellent hotel - very clean and modern and a lovely setting. Staff very helpful and polite.
Had drinks and a snack in the bar area - was a little on the expensive side, but then probably no more than most hotels. Very helpful staff and great service
Rooms clean and modern - but a little too warm.
Close enough to walk to centre of Budapest and felt very safe walking back late at night.
I would recommend this hotel for your stay in Budapest.response / report this review -

Nice hotel staff very helpful especially reception staff. However, as guests you expect to be able to eat in the restaurant. The hotel closed the restaurant to guests on the 4th Dec in order to accommodate a function without prior notice to guests. As we were leaving at 03.00 the following morning we were forced to go out in a bitterly gold night in order to get a hot meal. For this reason I regret we would not recommend this hotel to others

Loved the stay. It had all the facilities like swimming pool indoor and outdoor, Gym, saunas, restaurant with live music etc. It’s located in the centre and accessible to all tourist attraction with plenty of food joints and bars. Rooms are massive and modern. Staffs are very friendly, helpful and professional. Would highly recommend this place to friends and family.

Like my stay here so far. Convenient location.
Great bathroom, spacious bed (though firm for my liking and the blankets are ultra small) nice service.
But The card system is a pain to figure out. Tip: jam the card into slot with force or else it might not work to open doors or elevators.
The massage here is so so. It's not as cozy and spacious as other massage places I've been to.response / report this review -

Overall our stay was absolutely brilliant. The staff were some of the friendliest we've ever had the pleasure of meeting and the spa facilities made the trip so relaxing.
Parts of the room looked tired and the overall cleanliness left a bit to be desired, but nothing enough to affect our stay.response / report this review -

This hotel is very nice but there are a few things you need to know.
Pro's -
Very attentive staff
Food
Garden space
Cleanliness
Nice but small rooms
2 pools
Con's-
You have to pay €8 a day to use either pool
Not enough storage in rooms
Huge step to the entrance and pools
This hotel is not good for disabled!
If you cannot get out of your wheelchair like me and get up a step or 2 with help then this hotel is not for you.
We were let out of the side door which still had a step and to get in I had to get out and get up a huge step before trying to push through self propelled revolving doors.
Once in it was OK but we couldn't get the wheelchair in our room unfolded. And the bathroom wasn't big enough for 2 if you need help.
The twin rooms are a little bigger so go for one of those.

Excellent hotel very helpful concierge service. The hotel desk staff are professional but at times seem bossy towards the concierge. Rooms comfortable quiet. Restaurant attached to hotel and top floor health suite with pools.
Slight negatives are pool opening times are not good with no bar facilities anywhere in the hotel. This makes it feel more of a business hotel but I really appreciated the help with helping address issues with our return to airport. A hotel without a bar or casual eating drinking area makes it less inspiring for tourists.response / report this review -

A beautiful hotel located in a prime location within Budapest. All members of staff were welcoming, and provided a professional service when needed. There is ample selection of food and drink places, and most amenities are within a walking distance. The surrounding area feels very safe, and the staff were great at helping to organise an itinerary for travel. Of particular note in this Hotel's rooftop Spa/gym facilities, which were splendid on a hot summer's day and eve. I will definitely be returning and giving recommendation to friends and family.

The staff at Continental were second to none, nothing was too much trouble and they made us feel welcome straight away. The rooms were clean and towels changed everyday. The wellness area was clean and well used. We are glad we paid for breakfast as there was a good range of food and we ate enough to set us for a day of exploring. I would definitely visit again.

We really enjoyed staying at the Zara Continental. We especially liked the courtyard gardens - a real oasis from the city. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Excellent breakfast really set us up for the day. Small but lovely spa - shame it wasn't open until 9am.

Building Architecture and lobby were beautiful. Reception was welcoming and fast. Rooms and bathroom were decorated nicely, although a little bit small but not problem as is expected from a European city. The only problem we encountered was that as our room was very close to the elevator we kept hearing drunk people coming back to their rooms through out the night. On one occasion in the middle of the night some one was accidentally trying to enter our room thinking it was their. This is of course nothing to do with the hotel, but have been nice if the walls were a bit more soundproof.

The BEST hotel in Budapest! Its a dream come true from the minute you start planning your stay until the minute you leave this paradise. The staff is 10 star, the food, the Spa and it's staff are incredible! Everything and everyone top professionals. The rooms spacious and clean. The wifi , phones in the room, heating and air all work well! The beds are comfortable and large.it's the Perfect place to stay! As well, it's a historical building, the original old baths and within walking distance to the Jewish Temple and quarters. I enjoyed it so much that I will go back to Budapest, just to stay there!

Great service, beautiful hotel.
The location is close enough to reach most landmarks in 15 minutes walking. We were able to do this In the middle of December/beginning of January without getting overly cold.
The cafe/bar upstairs was gorgeous and definitely worth a visit even without staying at the hotel.
The rooms were always clean, though a bit small. For 2 people, it is big enough, though.response / report this review
