Good place to get the feel of an authentic Ottoman style bath. The place is not very well maintained though. Showers, locker rooms and massage areas aren't very well equipped.
Place is half the price of Gellert and Szechenyi, so a good bargain. If you want better quality facilities, there are other options in Budapest

The spar itself is nice. It's very old and the bath, staff all in white in the setting of the old building make it feel like a mental hospital. (In a quaint way)

It has a choice of baths sauna and steam room which are clean and comfortable though obviously a couple of hundred years old.

The negatives.. you either pay for a locker or a changing room. If you don't opt for a changing room there are 4 to use.. which means you'll queue you also have to queue to buy tickets and again to get your towel deposit back. I'm British so I get queues but the system is complicated when it needn't be.

My advice: go it's nice, bring your own towel, expect to wait to get changed remember it's old enjoy bathing with the locals and young lovers.

Great bath! In my opinion the best in Budapest! Very special atmosphere, you can really feel the atmosphere of old turkish spa. It is not super new and reconstructed but the experience is unique. It is also not expensive compare to other baths. English friendly. Highly recommended!

This was the only bath I had time to visit while I was in Budapest. Staff were pretty helpful (especially the ones by the changing rooms - English language ability is good) and it is a pretty authentic experience, and very cheap, especially for students like me. The downside of the authenticity is that it is pretty run-down, paint/stone peeling etc. It was also quite dirty - I wanted to spend some time in the jacuzzi, but there was some sort of dirt inside the jacuzzi on the rim, looked quite gross and in clear need of a clean.

Wow what an authentic experience. It was fairly small and not at all crowed. It was our favourite thermal bath we have ever been to (our 6th thermal bath) It was about $30 cad for the two of us. They have a half price admission if you go from 9 to 12.

If you are looking for something more authentic this is for you, if you want water slides and drinks you need to go to the bigger ones.

For me the most authentic bath we've done in Budapest. It's not the biggest one (first good news), nor the newest one (second good news) and one of the cheaper one (final good news!). The atmosphere is really great out there. Really want to go back !

Amazing experience there, is a lifetime experience for tourist. And is the cheapest option, 2,600 HUF and 1,800 HUF with students card. Highly recommend.

Traditional and local bath. Mind your manners here or they will let you know, we observed a large group of tourists being "redirected" by the locals for trying to take over a sauna. Very historic and lively baths with a nice hot sauna and 40 degree pool.

Very traditional and local bath with a great sense of history. It is quite small and as others have mentioned the hot 40 degree pool is a bit small, only fitting around 5 people. Staff were helpful and massage was excellent and very well priced! Bring towels if you have them but you can hire towels and swim suits if you need. Definitely a great historical experience in Budapest! If you want a more 'luxury' bath the bigger newer ones would be better suited but if you're interested in history and authentic local baths this is the place!
