Very good service nice thermal area and clean. Good place four massage special Thai . I loved this place
A brilliant stay and well worth the investment. I walked in with a cast and crutches and two weeks later walked out without either, nor a limp. I was really impressed with the level of care from the staff and the renovated rooms are extremely comfortable. I will be back.
Great food, fitness center, pools and sauna. Good healthy breakfast made by quality materials, and amazing rooms. The hotel is fairly cleaned, and the staff is very nice to answer any question.
A nice, fairly updated hotel. It looks dated frorm the outside but cheaper, renovated rooms make up for the facade. The room I had was clean and spacious. Breakfast was ample and the staff attentive. I would stay here again for a return trip to Budapest.
Had a last Budapest night dinner at the restaurant buffet, which was an unpleasant experience. The place was full of Fina2017 participants and they almost had their own party at the restaurant. I mentioned this to the waiters and they did not care, but offered me to take some fruit with me from the buffet! Large groups should have their own buffet area!!
Spa area ok.
Hotel is too far away from the Budapest center, shops and great restaurants. Fortunately we also stayed at a more centrally located hotel during our vacation.
Don't know what the other reviews are talking about. There's 2 parts to this place. The "medical/spa" part and the hotel. The hotel experience for us was pretty awful. From day 1, reservation for 3 and they had a room ready for 2. After a long flight, had to wait another 30 minutes for the one guy to bring in a cot, and barely fit it into the room next to the 2 beds (not large enough for 2 in either). They moved us to one of their older rooms, one that wasn't on a remodeled floor. The smell wasn't pleasant but at least we had enough beds for 3 to sleep in. Then we saw the shower.. The divider is not a sliding door. It's like a glass door that rotates out, and only blocks the front half of the shower, which was also tolerable until we experienced the tub filling up from a regular shower. Apparently it was pretty clogged to up, and kinda disgusting after they sent someone to repair it (still clogged after pulling out a bunch of w/e was in there). The first manager I spoke with lied to me about not having rooms large enough with two beds to accommodate 3-4 people. That's why we originally had to go here as the only other option. Went downstairs to let them know, and greeted right away with "back with some more complaints?" I understand there's different cultures and such, but there's a universal standard for respect in a service industry; that's not how you greet guests, especially ones you messed up reserved rooms for. The 2nd manager had no issues putting us back on the same original floor (remodeled rooms we paid for), and into a larger room with bigger beds; the same type of room manager 1 decided to say doesn't exist.
Restaurant doesn't always have labels for their food, and can be vague ("meat"). The food is pretty good overall, but occasion they have old stuff out (pickles I made the mistake of eating on day 2 of them sitting out in the same exact place since the previous day). Should've thought twice about seeing little flies around that area and eating it. The pickle tasted off and I had diarrhea later that day..go figure.
At the time of our visit, they're doing reconstruction, so apparently the public translation bus stop outside of the hotel wasn't available. Had to keep walking off the island, pay for a taxi or use their shuttle (only specific times of the day and have to reserve ahead of time.. Talk about inconvenient). A couple of times, their affiliated taxi drivers decided to be dishonest about the total cost. One decided to quadruple the price (not knowing what to expect for that trip, foreign, etc). After asking reception, they told us it was supposed to be a quarter of what we paid, and had no intention of alleviating the issue in anyway. Second time, we asked them to call for a taxi at a specific time. They called it ahead of time and the guy was there, waiting, 15 minutes before we asked him to be there. He started the timer and began charging before we all got there to start the ride. Can't do anything about it. Hotel doesn't care.
Now for the better part of it all. The spa/medical stuff was a good experience. The staff there is pretty friendly and they have great massage therapists. Hydromassage is a joke, just replace that for "underwater massage". First one is just jets cycling from legs, up to shoulders, and not that helpful. Underwater massage has someone use a hand held air jet to go over your muscles under water, and at adjustable pressures, unlike the hydromasssage.
Also, despite personally not caring about nudity, and saying so a few times, they're committed to protocol and using a cover / not looking when avoidable. You get undressed, they have a blanket held up between you and them, ready for you to lay down and cover you. If you want something non medical, and more for pleasure (or even exotic massages), that's available outside of the hotel, in the city.
Because of character limit, rest of review in image.
very good SPA with many pools, sauna, steam bath, aroma cabin, infrared sauna, salt cave, solarium
It has all you need..had a great time..island is superb..
Nice place, good service. The price affordable, and the spa is really great!
Clean and comfortable and staff are very kind. However, the management shall reconsider their services for customes wishing to go out to the city. Being located on the island, isolated from direct acces to public transport, customers are obliged to take a taxi. Receptionists shall help customers by calling a taxi, rather than delegating this to the porters, working busy and unavailable. Each time, getting out was a bit of struggle unfortunately.
