If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around

Can I give them 6 stars? I mean this probably the best hotel in the world. Efficiency, kindness, luxury and experience all fused together to have an amazing, outstanding an unforgettable stay. No way you do not take a room with a view on the bay, just spend your money to stay there. Room are great and with all comfort. Bed is incredible you want to sleep for hours on it. Take a tour to the swimming pool and spend there some time it simply fantastic. I suggest to have an in room dinner with the bay in front of you and will have the best dinner experience you can have in Hong Kong. Breakfast is outstanding you have whatever you what from wherever in the world. Simply fantastic and amazing experience.

I didn't stay here but stopped in one of the shops. This hotel is very high end and definitely high class. If you want to go stay here for the night, expect to shell out big bucks! 💸💸💸 There are. Lot of fancy shops and great (and expensive) dining options. Security is definitely going to look you over before letting you into a shop so dress nicely and look sharp or expect to be restricted in going into a shop.

My favourite hotel in Hong Kong. Great staff, great restaurants, great facilities. The rooms have an amazing attention to detail and are very comfortable. I recommend to stay a minimum of 2 nights to go enjoy the full services and spa facilities. Go for the great services and be pampered like royalty.

I went for the afternoon tea in the lobby with my friends . The staff there were extremely friendly and polite, the atmosphere was really comfortable but felt luxurious, and I particularly enjoyed the Christmas theme. We went to the front desk first and Jason at the front desk was really helpful in directing us to the right place for tea. He was warm and welcoming and really made us feel happy to be there. Service at the lobby for tea was also excellent; they used English to explain the difference between the teas to me and recommended which one went with the scones and they where so happy with as

We went for the afternoon tea at 14:00. We arrived at around 13:00 and only had to wait half an hour before being seated. The whole set is very expensive but worth the experience. The Peninsula is absolutely beautiful and awe inspiring. The snacks included in the afternoon tea were mixed. The scones were delicious as was the salmon, tuna and cucumber sandwiches. The quiche was ok. The desserts were fairly sweet (too sweet for my liking) but presentation was great. This is something I would bring all those who visit me, but not somewhere I would go by myself.

I went for the afternoon tea in the lobby with my cousins. Service at the lobby for tea was also excellent; they used English to explain the difference between the teas to me and recommended which one went with the scones. They were happy to take photos of us, they were attentive when we needed more hot water or clotted cream, etc. I can't speak to the rooms since I didn't stay overnight, but I went to use the washroom and there was an employee inside who was stationed there to open the door, keep the washroom clean, and she even apologised when the stalls were full and I had to wait. She was kind and considerate and smiling the whole time. Location was great, I took the bus and it was easy to get to, but my cousins got lost and went to the wrong hotel because there were so many hotels in the same area. I did hear from my cousins that the Peninsular is really strict with their employees, which did disappoint me because though I really appreciated the amazing service from everyone, I would hate to think that everyone is forced to act that way. I hope the hotel genuinely appreciates their staff. I'm sure the staff deal with difficult visitors and customers on a regular basis, and from the level of professionalism and understanding that I saw in the staff, I would feel better knowing that the staff enjoy working there. Everyone was so attentive no matter where I went within the hotel, and all smiles. My only "constructive criticism" would be that considering the cost of the tea, I didn't find that the food met my expectations. I may be more used to a "western taste" but I've had high tea in Canada and England and preferred those over the one I had here in Hong Kong. But it might just be my personal taste. Overall I really enjoyed my visit to the Peninsular and the experience was definitely worth my time and money! I wish I had the opportunity to stay a night, but the tea was already fantastic.

A magnificent dream to experience, from the pickup at the gate by one of those golf carts,
expedited assistance, guidance through immigration then the Rolls Royce to a Hotel I've wanted to stay in since I first heard of it as a kid. Lobby beautiful, registration personal and in the room. I was awed by the room, truly breathtaking views of the harbor and the buildings all decorated for Christmas. But back to the room so cool with electronics for everything from curtains and makeup mirror to bathroom electronics. I'm 65 and this is the coolest place my 17 year old son AND I have ever been to, this alone makes HK

Visiting Hong Kong with my mom and I brought her for Afternoon Tea at the Peninsula Hotel. What a beautiful and elegant place to indulge. We waited in line for about 45 minutes but it was worth the wait. Everything was delicious and perfect. Having a Afternoon Tea at the Peninsula was a real treat!

One of the oldest and most traditional hotel in Hongkong. Service is still excellent and more than 5 stars quality. Hotel is up-to-date and modern. The car park with Rolls Royce is incredible and outstanding. Helicopter service is available.

I have been here many times for afternoon tea in the foyer but I have not yet stayed here. It is a most traditionally British yummy experience. The classic three tiered plate with scones and jam and cream and a selection of delicious sandwiches and petit four cakes. Combined with your choice of teas or coffees. Sit back relax. And nibble. It is a lovely thing to do in the mid afternoon.
It can however get a little noisy in the centre, so I have found it is actually very nice to sit in the outer regions of the foyer almost up against the shops. The food and the service is just as good and there is less traffic between the tables and so less noise. I have given it four stars as the scone recipe is not my favourite, and it is actually relatively expensive, unless you feel like you deserve an indulgence.
    I often do.

Elegant, historic hotel in a prime waterfront location. The well-appointed lobby restaurant provided a world-class setting for tea on my wife's birthday. The string quartet added ambiance and class that we will long remember! While there, make note of the cars parked out front.

A beautiful iconic hotel that has its traditional heritage charm. The hotel is a beautiful venue for small weddings and is also a fantastic place to come to over the holidays. Christmas time is one of the most notable times to come here with its massive Christmas displays which are perfect for taking photos on a family outing. During the Mid Autumn festival the hotel also has an almost always sold out moon cake packages which are signature classics and perfect for family, friends and giving to coworkers or friends from overseas. The spa is also top notch with beautiful facilities and friendly 5-star staff. The dim sum restaurant is also beautifully decorated and perfect for outings during the week. I have yet to try their signature afternoon tea and will definitely be back again soon. Done

Staff was outstanding. There were no details missed at any time, including details I never even knew existed. I have a son with food allergies, and the staff who assisted us the first morning remembered every detail and preference unprompted the remainder of our stay.

Wonderful place to stay among the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong. Built during the British involvement with Hong Kong the Peninsula was design to be a crown jewel of the nation. With wonderful architectural stylings and the wonderful quality of the service on offer you'll be in a treat from the moment that you check in till the moment that you leave. The hotel is well equipped from a shopping arcade filled with luxury goods to the fleet of Rolls Royces to chauffeur you around the city if the need arise. Staff here is more then friendly. The rooms on offer here is on the higher end of the price bracket. But if you want to experience the hotel without spending top dollars. I'd recommend the afternoon High Tea option. All in all a wonderful place that is well worth your time

The afternoon tea at the Lobby Lounge is highly recommended.

The loose leafs tea are highly recommended, especially the earl grey tea and the camellia & citric tea are at very high quality.

Price is not friendly but it's worth. Compared with many years ago, the size of the tea set reduced significantly. I wish the finger sandwiches and scones are refillable. The sweet on the top plate is in larger size.

A beautiful hotel, the afternoon tea is spectacular - with delicious food and drink for a very reasonable price by Western standards. Unlike the other reviews I've seen, we found tables were turned around very quickly, and the service was really friendly and personable - as well as attentive. The queue is extremely long however, with no seating. We queued for about an hour. Most people get there early for the 2pm start of the high tea service, and the queue goes very slow for the next two hours. Then as the first batch of people start to leave around 3/4pm, the queue rapidly clears - hope that's helpful to others.

Before you go, explore The Peninsula Arcade! A sort of shopping mall for some of the top elite brands in the world INSIDE the hotel! Quite unique.

I came here for the afternoon tea. The line seems to be the longest when they first open, so if you can wait a little later to show up, you'll still wait but not as long. They have a variety of teas to choose from, but it's the pastries and finger sandwiches I will remember from my meal here. I didn't have issues showing up in sneakers and jeans, but I wouldn't dress down too much just in case. Staff is very polite and accommodating.

Everything you have heard about this hotel is true. Amazing. Go to the roof top bar. Very nice and great view. Not as refined but better view than the 2nd floor bar. If you go up there visit the toilet. Worth the trip up just to see.

Came here for high tea. Get in line around 1 - and the tea room opens around 2. The line becomes pretty long after 1. Its definitely one of the best and cheapest afternoon teas in Hong Kong. The tea was tasty as were the sandwiches. It was in a cute photo friendly room and the hotel was pleasant and quiet to be in!

It has been a dream to stay at the Peninsula in Hong Kong and it lived up to all expectations. The room was beautifully appointed, the bed comfortable, the food amazing. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I've ever had. The high tea was delicious and full of old world charm. From the moment we arrived to when we left- Hazel from the front desk, made sure everything was taken care of. She is a huge asset to the hotel. I can't wait for the next visit!
