It's an old hotel in the less desirable place of hongkong. Its clean good service with lots and lots of massage places and counterfit bags as and products offered on the streets. Good fun never the less
We loved the Kowloon Hotel. It is in a great position close to the MTR and the ferries. The staff are helpful and friendly and one guy, Tony, went above and beyond for an issue we had with venue tickets that didn't arrive. Our room was a superior room and although small it was quiet, comfortable and we slept very well. The shower was as hot as you wanted with great pressure. We would stay there again.
Really good hotel, great location!! Right next to Nathan road and an MTR entrance. 5 min walk to water front and ferry pier. Rooms not the biggest but clean and all works well. Strong water! Breakfast buffet very nice too. Again, not the biggest but tasty.
Fantastic location with train station underneath. Rooms a bit small, and bed is definitely not made for tall people. Service was friendly, especially within club lounge.
Many good hotels on TST! But recommend Kowloon Hotel for rainy season because it's lobby is directly connected to MTR station!!
Friendly staff and room cleaning is very good. Me and my family liked it. Wish to come back and get new promos and discounts. Cheers
Nice hotel, great location close to harbour and star ferries to take you to Hong Kong island. Great varied east/west breakfast buffet served daily. The rooms are quite small, but manageable. We had access to the lounge located in 17/18 floors. Daily coffee bar, afternoon tea with sweets and sandwiches, cocktail hour serving complimentary wines, liquor. Really appreciate it. Nice but limited view of Hong Kong harbour from there. Would recommended.
service is good and room is considerably clean. Very well located in the heart of TST with the Victoria Dockside just across the road.
Nice posh and pleasant place. Super convenient next to mtr
Hotel crew are nice, our room is 846. Room size is really pack small, but this hotel is very strategic, close to kowloon mosque. Lot of department store around hotel, and easy access to MTR.
This hotel is just for resting at night.
Location is easy to get to from the Airport Express Train via the free shuttle. Right by the Tsim Tsa Shui MTR which also makes it a very convenient place to stay. Also short walking distance from the waterfront, Harbour City, and Nathan Road main area. Hotel room is a bit small and free wifi is only for two devices (more for additional cost), but overall it was great for the price. Room and bathroom were clean, and free water bottles were provided daily. Would stay here again!
It's in Kawaloon, so all the shopping centers and the ferry point is very close. You can get all kinds of food if you walk around for 15 minutes max. The rooms are, well basic, and small for my Indian taste. 4 stars because of very convenient location.
I went there last year 2016 ,it was a Great and excellent experience there ,a good service was provided, friendly atmosphere was there and every thing I needed was there so this hotel deserves more then 5 stars
The Hotel is convenient to many places. It does even lets you go directly to the MTR station without going outside. However, due to limited space, the rooms are slightly tightly spaced.
Very well-managed place. The staff is very well-mannered and friendly. The housekeeping is spot-on with the staff working very hard to ensure the place is chic and clean. Recommended for all!
Correct. Rooms a bit small. No modern TV. Plugs no working for European system (broken). Nice people though
Well situated. No pool. Decent breakfast but it was included in my rate. Otherwise I wouldn't pay almost 20 euro for that breakfast.
It's a nice hotel, I've been there few weeks ago but I think very important information is there is no gym or wellness. Thanks for visit. There is a pretty good staff!
A good place to stay at a reasonable price. also a good place for a buffet, food is fresh with a variety and at a moderate price.
The Hotel rooms are quite small but its a good size if you were to stay as a guest alone. The Kowloon Hotel has a great location. Easy to travel on bus, train, taxi. This is a mediocre hotel.
Rooms are a bit small, but the location is convienent to go around places in hong kong. Also rooms are very clean
Like most hotel's in Hong Kong, the rooms are very small, convenient location, wonderful breakfast buffet, and polite/helpful staff.
We had to switch rooms twice because the sheets were still damp. The sheets also had evident stains, and I found a long blonde string in my bath towel (upon using it). The rooms themselves are not that prestigious either, wallpaper that has bumps in it, bathtub that has cracks and stains, and pretty gross carpet. The only redeeming qualities are probably the nice staff who assisted in our room changes and the location of the hotel, which is close to many stores and restaurants.
I like this hotel mainly because of location. Rooms are small but comfortable. Location is great
Good location polite staff and cheap
Good location in the centre of HK , room is small though but clean and neat. Chinese Restaurant is good and delicious.
First of all, I never write hotel review before but I must to do right thing for future innocent traveler. I stayed hotel during the Hong Kong Electronics show last Oct 2016, as Typhoon landed suddenly, all airlines canceled then Hotel informed increase room rate 200-300% for stay extra half day but no choice I paid. Today on Feb 13, 2017. I saw newspaper what same situation at New York JFK hotels last year, court ordered payback with huge penalty, but no rule in HK. This Hotel doesn't care their royal customers no matter what situation. I won't stay this Hotel anymore, their service, room clean condition, communication skills were all below average. Key point is there is no business philosophy by their management.
“No free Wi-Fi”
Started off the experience pretty well, as my friend was checking in I got quite a lot of helpful information from the porters, they were great, happy and friendly. Later we went to reception and stood in front of hotel reception and the young guy knew we were standing there but completely ignored us, when my friend said sarcastically "maybe we're in the wrong place" he then looked up at us and was then wanting to serve us but when one of his colleagues offered he then ignored us again. We then asked if we could book a taxi for next morning early check out and was told no need as they are always in front of the hotel, yeah right, next morning no bloody taxis. When we did get a taxi the driver charged us $5 per piece of luggage, it's not the amount but it would have been nice to be told this before the journey.
I've worked in retail now for 15 years and would not be there if I gave such bad service. The porters and housekeeping were fantastic but hotel reception were so up themselves.
