The Jervois is in a great location - convenient to the MTR and in the midst of lots of great restaurants and cafes in the neighbourhood. The hotel / services apartment is well appointed, quiet, and feels much more like living in a luxury apartment than staying in a hotel. If you can get it at a good rate, I definitely recommend it over similarly priced hotels on Hong Kong island.

The Pros: Pillows were soft which are to my liking. Firm pillows are also available upon request. Bed is comfortable. Spacious room with high windows. Love the couch and work table/shelf. Sound proofing of the room is good. There were only 1 to 2 rooms on each level so noise isn’t a concern.

Staff are friendly and helpful! Upon check in, one of the staff showed us to our room and showed us how to use the free phone which you can carry around in HK as well as a short introduction of where the amenities are. When we were checking out, the staff on duty helped us to get our luggage onto the shuttle bus.

Loccitane amenities, nespresso machine, free soft drinks /water/tea were provided. There’s also a free shuttle bus to the airport right outside the hotel. Short walk to Central and all the nice restaurants and cafes. Sheung Wan MRT station was just 7mins walk away. Would return and stay at The Jervois again.

The not so fab: Light was still coming through the edges of the curtains in the morning. Bathrobe wasn’t readily available but a call to the reception fixed that. Tiny lobby. There’s only one chair available and not much space for you to walk. But it wasn’t an issue for me. Not much of a view as all you see are tall dilapidated buildings surrounding the hotel.

Spent a wonderful night at this modern design hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and spacious room. Great welcome and bath amenities (la maison du chocolat et L’occitane). Pantry is well equipped. Thumbs up!!

Unfortunately roof view became unavailable due to safety reasons as a receptionist said. In other points, it's a good hotel for you and your girlfriend. In the city center with McDonalds 24 available

Great location and excellent, clean rooms with nice bathrooms and great views. It's not a resort; there's no restaurant and no gym in the building (they have a membership with a gym about 5-10 minutes away so you can go workout there), but you're in the middle of the coolest part of Hong Kong so you really don't need any of those kind of amenities. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hong Kong.
