A lot of displays and model units to inspire people of smart minimalist designs. However, there was no decent restaurant to rest and refuel after a long and tiring day in this big big store. But all in all it was ok.

Ikea is always a delight to visit, whether I need a large item or small little things for the house. They've such an extensive range, yet is constantly looking to expand what they're carrying. Being in Causeway Bay helps with the accessibility issue, but also brings with it large crowds especially on weekends.

Pro tip: try to see what you need before going, via their catalogue, and go there with the aim of looking and sussing the possibility of the items fitting your home, instead of going there to see the possibilities.

I have never seen such a huge Ikea store. You might develop a good appetite while walking through the entire store. Only drawback is even if u have to go to a particular section you have to cross the entire store. There is nothing you will not find here!

It could be the smallest IKEA, a small 2 stories basements shop inside a hotel and in the busy Causeway Bay shopping area. You could get the normal IKEA furniture and small items which you could pick up there. The hidden gem is actually the food mart and food kiosk. The food mart has a range of Swedish food items from frozen salmon to biscuits, chips, beer and soft drink. The food kiosk has a range of snacks and hot dog, not only Swedish good but also some local items. The price is probably the lowest you could find on Hong Kong. A great place for tourists on a budget or anyone want a quick snack.

Okay, and interesting with underground IKEA
When you found your stuff, you sadly need to wait at least one day, because almost everything need to be picked up the following day at their pick up location. Their personal is good at advising on the products.
It is a very clean Store.

For me there is a lack of shortcuts, and the food / restaurant area is extremely small, and I experienced it ran out of food later in the evening. Besides this everything is up to standard.

Some nice products at decent prices. Although it's crazy you need to walk through the entire store to get anything. Maybe because it's Hong Kong and they need to maximize a much space and selling opportunity as possible.

As any IKEA store. Good location. Has pretty much all you need. And I'm biased towards ikea designs. Not that expensive so you can redo the look of your place ever so often.

Store associates were not only unhelpful.but misleading out of pure laziness.
They claimed a "new policy" didn't allow then to deliver all the goods I was attempting to purchase. When I asked "why is this a New Policy? I stop here often and this is the first time you're not delivering all of it" They would only say "we don't know."
Employees who deal with the public, simply not trained to Deal with the Public.
if I could.give less than 1 star, I would.

The ikea store with pretty much everything you need to set up a home from scratch furniture, furnishing, crockery, cutlery, knick-knacks. also their food counter with typical Swedish meatballs and snacks which is more crowded that the store sometimes! Usually has lots of kids and couples chilling on the sofas with their phones on wifi. Be prepared though to walk a bit, as the different sections take some getting to. There’s a cash/octopus line that moves faster so take that if you have few items and want quick checkout.

Spacious,. Wide range of furniture, from sofas and cushions to the tables, chairs and bookshelves at a very affordable price. The furniture are on value-for-money, ease of installation, and general aesthetic. The snacks shop is a must go. Foods are delicious and cheap. You can even refill your coffees.

A good sized store, well located for public transport. Avoid on weekends, particularly Sundays and especially on hot weekend days - it's absolutely heaving at these times and it's difficult to test any of the sofas or beds because of the sheer number of people napping in the cool of the air con. Completely bizarre.
I just wish there were more shortcuts, and that you didn't have to go through the entire store to get to the food area past the Marketplace cashiers!

Cafeteria was tiny with only standing space to eat. Food was cheap for HK standards though. Store was a labyrinth. There weren't any easy to find shortcuts and you had to walk the whole way just to get out. Plenty of old people just chilling out on the couches and beds - was a bit weird. Interesting take on an IKEA store.

Efficient as usual. Need to lookout for the shortcuts if you know what you want to get. Don't know why the crowd would spend time queuing for the fast food located at the entrance and eat there where you can hardly find a place to stand. Rather appalling in my opinion.

Always a fun place to visit for furniture and household items but also almost always too crowded - have learned that the best time to visit is as soon as the store opens on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Also a shame that the eating area is way too small to accommodate the crowd that inevitably gathers for hot dogs, fries, cinnamon buns - either before or after walking through the store.

Food is good and cheap, furniture is good and food value. But you can not collect everything they will direct you to the other store. If the online and in-store experience were more seemless (is I had to re register) I would give 5 stars. Strongly recommend for every one who is looking to buy house hold items

Perhaps the tiniest IKEA store in the world, weird layout that the whole place is in the basement with very low ceilings, displays are mixed together with no clear signs

Crowded and chaotic, there's no restaurant just a tiny bistro with a very long queue. Weekends and public holidays are always disasters. I don't think you can enjoy shopping here

If you wish to go, head to the Kowloon Bay MegaBox branch instead, more spacious and less crowded, though still a tiny store compared to those abroad

Here is not a place for taking rest!
And don't really like the floor plan as all the other Ikea, they forced you to walk all the departments before let you go. You hardly find the detour when you just wanna grab something quickly.

Cramped compared to a normal IKEA store. Not enough shortcuts, I only found one. If you only want to go to the swedish food store after the cashiers you need to pass through the whole store. There is a bistro serving some of the usual ikea fare, as well as some unusual food options. Problably one of the cheapest places to get a bite around causeway way, so it's totally packed with people. No seating available so the food has to be consumed standing.

Great selection of reasonably priced and quality products fitting the Ikea brand. No free parking included but connected within the same building. Cheap and tasty snack corner recently renovated to offer more standing room.

Great place for an ice cream ;) they recently changed the food area and are selling different food. It's sill not an ikea restaurant as you can have in other countries.
And of course it's an ikea where you can go shopping. But as it is in Ikea in Hong Kong you have to order most of the things because they don't have it in store.

I might be biased since I have visited many IKEA stores throughout the states. In comparison, I found the showcase section of the store to be rather lacking. It seemed dark and a bit lacking in inspiration compared to the incredible displays that I have experienced at other stores.

Aside from that, the other parts of the service were great and up to par! However, since I greatly appreciate the strength of IKEAs showcase, having it be lacking greatly brought down how much I liked the store.
