Friendly, helpful, and flexible staff. Room was nice and comfortable. Buffet breakfast had a good variety and was tasty. The internet was fairly slow at times, but was able to do what I needed for the most part. Nice area to get away from the usual hustle of Hong Kong.

Great location on Discovery Island. Sea view rooms offer unprecedented views of the bay. Rooms well appointed with good housekeeping service. Buffet breakfast has decent spread with usual live options of eggs and Chinese food. Very close to shopping areas and restaurants. Offers complimentary shuttle services to MTR Sunny Bay and to Disneyland Hong Kong. Relatively cheap service to airport. Very good children's play area, well equipped gym and good swimming pool. In room dining is a hit or miss. If booking two rooms, go for the generally free upgrade to the serviced apartment kind of rooms facing the sea. Fairly fast lifts. Good accessibility options.

Rooms were clean, modern, and cool (temp). We we're lucky enough to get a corner room so we had a full view of bay and mountains. There was an issue with the tub not draining late one night but maintenance came up quickly to resolve the matter. Would definitely stay again.

Very nice hotel. We got free upgrade to the ocean view room with the big open shower that has window view of the ocean. They also offer free shuttle bus to Disneyland park. But you need to reserve either one of 2 times in the morning.

What a beautiful hotel, vety nice rooms. Great service. I love the near by shops! The taxi cost was about $120 Hong King money one way plus tip. Not bad. I will be back!

Beautiful hotel, we had a corner room that had the view of the water from the bedroom and the view of the jungle from the bathroom. Loved the large windows and modern decor. The breakfast was impressive, countless options and it was a little different every day, egg station, huge salad bar. If you are planning on visiting HK be mindful that you will need to walk 1 block to the bus stop for a 10' ride and then take the 25' Discovery Bay to Central Ferry.

Nice hotel for family with young children. Great view of the bay. We really enjoyed their buffet breakfasts and the kids club area reach morning before we started our day. Despite their offering convenient shuttle services, it was a little inconvenient getting to and from the hotel each day with young kids. Would have preferred being within walking distance to MTR.

We reserved the room through Agoda, and expected a double bed room. Until we checked-in, the front desk said there is no indication we are booking double bed because no remark were input in Agoda and there were no vacancies for double bed room. So, if you are unsure about whether the guest is booking single or double bed, why don’t you just call us. We booked the hotel room two and a half months before, the hotel had a lot of time to call/email us to confirm. While the hotel can blame Agoda for not providing a convenient way for the customer to indicate room preference, we didn’t expect this level of service from a hotel that charged us $1960 per night. The hotel just didn’t show enough caring for the customers.

We went there for the dinner buffet. Great selection of both Western and Eastern cuisine. Services are great, plates are cleared diligently. Food is good and there are enough variety to keep us going back for more. Make sure to try the desserts. The price includes a cold drink (ordered) and coffee (self service). Unlimited alcoholic drinks and soda can be had for a price.

À la carte meals are served at a separate section.

A hotel full of Chinese, noisy in lobby. Aged decoration but obtain very nice seaveiw. Nice staffs. Provide free shuttle to airport.

You can expect a nice location and room from this hotel. It's expected from the price that you've spent for the room.

The room service is great, and that's all about it. The staffs won't go all the way to accomodate your requests.

We spent several hours waiting for the front desk to swap the room number because they said it can't be done. It's sorted out eventually, but you could see that they didn't want to go through the trouble until we started to complain.

We requested a cup of hot water for a cup noodle after we've checked out, and the staffs were reluctant to help us. I have to mention that they did offer a small cup of hot water, but it came again with us sensing their reluctancy to go all the way for these small requests.

It could've been the best experience for us here if the staffs could care for the guests. Expect a good location and room, but don't put your hopes high for 5 stars hotel services.

Good place to relax for the night between flights. It is close the the airport and not too expensive. A lot of the guests are living there while their homes are being built in the surrounding area- it has a very family oriented feel. However, I have taken off a star because the hotel staff are abrupt and at times condescending.

Auberge Discovery Bay Hong Kong is a new and big hotel. We like the room that have infinity sea view. Due to they are far from town, the hotel price is not expensive.

You got to take a shutter bus to Sunny Bay subway station in order to go to the town, the other method is to take a shutter bus to discovery bay harbor to take a ferry to town.

Had a nice and long stay at this hotel in Summer 2015. Very friendly staff, clean rooms and a good restaurant at the hotel offering delicious dishes. There is also an outdoor swimming pool and an indoor gym.

Nice hotel with great sea views to Hong Kong city. Get the ocean view corner room! Have held larger group events here including group dinner events on the HMS Bounty the hotel has (full scale replica of the old original English sailing boat) Definitely a unique experience). Close to Disneyland and a short ride from Hong Kong airport by taxi or the regular hotel coach running every 30 min from below terminal 1.

Beautiful hotel in a little Resort area. It's a 20 min cab ride from the airport so perfect for what we needed. A comfortable place to rest our heads for the night.
