Perhaps one of the best hotels I stayed in in Hong Kong. Friendly staff, clean venue, elevators, hallways and rooms. No smells and very generous on the amenities and towels. I found their concierge service to be excellent and very helpful. Few minutes walk from Wan Chai district and Hennessy Road which is very vibrant and bustling with people until very late during summer. I sincerely enjoyed my stay at the Gloucester Luk Kwok Hotel!
Good selection of hot/cold food. No oydster on weekday dinner buffet but still worth a visit. Plus excellent service
Best hotel I stayed in the Wan Chai area. Only steps away from one of the exits of the train station, exit C I think. Got a nice view of the skyline from the 23rd floor. Room was much much bigger than other hotels and fantastic service. Even gave us a free welcome drink.
This hotel is very much in the centre of the action. While the address is Gloucester Road, and you can get to reception from Gloucester Road, the main entrance is in Jaffe Street from behind the hotel building.
Staff were very helpful although the rooms are dated, but none the less clean.
Wi-Fi is good, complimentary fruit and water in the room and all the toiletries you would need.
There is a Starbucks right next door because you would not drink the hotel coffee.
Restaurants: there is very good restaurant in the hotel on the first floor. And there would be at least 100 other eateries within easy walking distance less than 500 m.
Posh place. Delicious vegetarian food in the second floor restaurant, (they also serve non-veg). Very attentive staff.
Good service. Clean Room. Location is not that bad
However with this price you can find lot more bettet places(too expensive)
Excellent hotel service and rooms were comfortable during our stay in 2017. Bottled water was provided daily which is great for tourists. A wide selection for the buffet breakfast!
Good hotel in a bad neighborhood. Room spacious and clean, with a little effort can become 4.5 stars . Worse Gym in HK.
Good hotel. Close to offices and shopping malls. After long hour work, I'd like to go to Zenxes Foot Retreat in Happy Valley. Take foot and body treatment. Very professional and modern. I feel totally refreshed. Enjoy it very much.
Nice hotel close to central plaza (important to me). The rooms are spacious and clean and the free water and fruit is a nice detail from the hotel. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby and just 20 min walk to Causeway Bay. Will definitely come back.
Dim sum lunch at the Cantonese restaurant recently. Everything is just average. A decent place to grab a meal at reasonable prices.
Good hotel at heart of Hong Kong. Unfortunately we found worm in the morning breakfast buffet.
Delicious lunch buffet in a relatively cheap price with essential food choice.
A nice alternative for business traveler. close to the convention center, mtr station and bar street. short taxi ride to TST or LKF.
The hotel is cheaper than a lot of Wan Chai hotels. The food is nothing special which doesn't matter as there are plenty of fantastic restaurants in the area.
The staff are efficient and friendly and the location is great.
The location is great! About 8 mins walk to the convention centre and 5 mins walk to Wan Chai MTR. There lots of amenities around the hotel such convenience stores, mini supermarket, noodle stores, and restaurants. The Wan Chai shopping areas are a close walk. The Wan Chai computer shops located at 298 Hennessey Road is about 10 to 15 mins walk. The rooms are clean and the decor is modern. There is a gym available for use.
Best hotel in Wan Chai. Wifi is not very strong in all the rooms but excellent service, very nice and big rooms, good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. I will be happy coming back!
Good location, not so new facilities
Friendly staff and easy access. Nice view of the harbour.
Have stayed several times. Great lication. Close to the Convention Centre and MTR. Many bars and restaurants are close by. The staff at the hotel are very helpful and friendly
An historical Hong Kong hotel, the hotel has been in the same location for over a hundred years. When it was first built it was on a water front location until reclaimation and the seafront is now the busy Gloucester Road.
Nice and quiet. Very close to MTR and ocean side
Excellent hotel. The restaurant is very expensive
nice and warm, price a bit high
Perfectly fine but a bit dated. Retro feel in hallways with pink carpet. Good location and I found the room nice and quiet.
