Really nice location and Decent service at comparable prices. Convenient to stay during the shows. Very close to Want Chai station.
Part of this hotel has been renovated recently and the rest was only partially renovated. I stayed in this hotel with a large group. Two of the people in my group saw cockroaches in their hotel rooms. The bathrooms were absolutely horrible with mold in the showers and an all in one body soap/shampoo/conditioner dispenser on the shower wall. The hotel would not provide separate shampoo, conditioner and body soap, even once asked. Additionally, the hotel smelled like smoke even on non-smoking floors. The location of this hotel is poor as well, with prostitutes on street corners during the evenings.
This was quite possible the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The hotel needs to address their bug problem and needs to complete the renovation and redo all bathrooms throughout!
Very convenient to Wan Chai night life & bars. Best location I have stayed at during the HK 7's. Room I stayed in was lacking & a bit dated
Very good location. Close to mtr and to exhibition and convention centre. Friendly and very kind staff.the room was clean and very comfortable.
The hotel itself is nice and fairly priced, but here it is 2018 and their check in process is like they are stuck in 2001. I signed several documents and invoices and receipts. For one night. I have booked many hotels on this trip but this hotel check in process is laughable and way overboard. Modernize!!!
very convenience location in WanChai district where there are many choices for food and shopping. Close to bus and subway station. Rooms are reasonably priced and clean.
local hotel in Wanchai area. very convenient if you wish to check out local cuisines and hole-in-wall outlets
This is a pretty good hotel, all in all.
It has a couple of perks that I have not seen even in 5 star hotels, which were very surprising.
The room I had was a bit small, but had all I needed and was very comfortable.
Best decent affordable hotel in Hong Kong bar none. The newly renovated floors (called executive) are great. Modern, clean, large for Hong Kong and quiet. The bedding is comfortable and everything works. They have great unlimited free wifi and even offer a local mobile phone with the rooms. Service is efficient and English is well spoken by most of the staff. This hotel is hands down the best for $100 USD in the city. Location is easy access to everything and more so if you are looking for the party scene in Hong Kong as it's just outside the door yet the hotel remains a quiet oasis from the crazy swirling around Wanchai. Highly recommend it.
Great hotel to stay in, they offer free gym! In the middle of Wan Chai, Hong Kong, that full of nightlife. Great place to stay.
It's a good, well priced hotel in the centre of Wan Chai. It's in the middle of the red light district, so if you want a hotel close to the 'attractions', it doesn't get more perfect.
Convenient and good service. After meal, I get on taxi to Happy Valley. Take foot and body treatment in Zenxes Foot Retreat. Very professional and modern. Totally refresh. Enjoy.
Clean room with a nice bathroom. Would recommend the executive plus suite to visitors. Baggage storage is 5hkd per day.
The Canny Man bar underneath the Wharney Guang Dong us claimed to be Hong Kong's premier Scottish bar, though aside from serving haggis it's hard to tell it's any different from any other bar. Good food, reasonable beer selection but a bit too pricey. Good quiz on a Wednesday though!
For visiting Hongkong fair it is one of the best located hotels for an affordable price. Breakfast is ok. Superior Room has a good size for Hongkong.
Some renovation work would be fine.
Perfect place for a business or leisure trip. Very convenient location, within walkable distance to the metro.
Superb hotel in the heart of city. Nice and comfortable and big rooms. Hotel is close to a number of restaurants and pubs.
Beware of the small print!
If you book a room with this hotel on one of their cheaper deals, it is likely to be on a non-refundable basis. In addition to this, the type of bed you get is not guaranteed for many of the rooms (twin or double), and if you decide to cancel the booking well ahead of time they still will not provide you with any form of refund.
To add insult to injury, this hotel also will not allow you to change the name and card on the (already paid for) booking if you wish to resell your non-refundable room, meaning you are truly stuck with the cost.
I would never stay in a hotel chain as customer unfriendly as this and won't be using them again.
Friendly helpful staff, good breakfast, room small but ok, location great stayed here many times when on buisness 10 /20 years ago
There is a very good and authentic dim sum chinese restaurant in it. If you are a great fan of dim sum and barbacue pork, this is a must try for you!
Clean & in good condition but a little dated
Good service from the staff
Surrounded by bars and nightclubs so it can be a little noisy on the weekends
Rooms are nice enough but you have to put a 1,000 HKG deposit for what I'm guessing for is a mobile phone you get in your room. My other half an me booked the hotel a while ago now and we got given a twin bed room. So hmm yeah. Oh and no other rooms left apparently. But Wi-Fi is free!
Excellent location, clean hotel with room space as per hkg standards. All modern amenities available.
It just needs a 3-minute walk from Wan Chai MTR Station. The rooms are clean and tidy. The price is only a little bit more than a hostel (with much lower standard) nearby during weekdays. I choose this one instead. The bars are just opposite to the hotel.
Smaaall rooms. But otherwise pretty inexpensive, and in a really good location - right next to the Wan Chain metro station. No other complaints.
Pretty good service and clean. Nice lobby and staff members are attentive. Sadly no shuttle from airport and the area is extremely lively.
Professionally trained staff, cozy room. If you make reservation early(at least 1~2 week), you can stay 4-star degree hotel for easonable price.
Unpleasant incident! A guest tried to break in our room. Called the front desk. The security was sent. After checking, it was a drunk guest. The duty manager took the incident very lightly and provided no solution, only to say that the drunk guest will check out tomorrow. We had to provide solution and request for room change and the duty manager unwillingly "apologise" and unwillingly provide for room change. No assurance was given and not even a sign of concern for guest's well being. Greatly disappointed.
There were bed bugs!!! Now I have to clean everything and hope it doesn't spread to my place. Do NOT stay here. They did nothing to compensate. The location is good and close to the mtr station. If you are a foreigner be prepare to be approached by prostitutes at night (but it's relatively safe). The walls are moldy and they hardly clean the bathroom. The same piece of hair on the bathtub left from the last stay was there throughout my whole stay. They must rig their ratings.
