- Convenient location yet hard to find the entrance
- Smokey smell on a non-smoking level - please advise the visitors they CANNOT smoke either inside or outside the room. It’s unbearable.
- Will not recommend
I wish there was a no star option.this place is a like a joke.they have kind of toy fridge just to get another star for their rating Small room unfriendly staff
Room is too small for 2 people with luggage. For one person it is fine. We had twin beds but had to put luggage in window sill while we slept. Other than that, it was a nice stay.
We are American tourists and Diamond members. Staff was friendly but very limited English. Concierge was useless for assistance. As a former English Outpost we were surprised at how few people had English skills. Still everyone friendly, tried their best and we enjoyed our visit. Rooms were clean but small. Bed was not comfortable.
Location is convenient but the room is really really really small. The toilet water is yellow. The temperature in the room is always cold. But honestly if you're just looking for a place to stay close to where all the hustle and bustle is, then this is the place. Especially since it's quite affordable
Good location but the room is very tiny. Bed is poor quality due to years of use. Frustrating poor reception service. Bad manners. Unfriendly service. Breakfast has limited range. Airport transfer cost HKD140 & is poor. I had to drag my two heavy luggage on the roads to the main road. If u travel long distance with 2 heavy bags, don’t bother booking this hotel. The only good thing is the location & the concierge service.
cheap hotel in causewaybay. however you get what you pay for cheap price. small room and uncomfortable bed. however they provide hairdryer in each room. great location for muslim because it is easy to find halal food near this place
This is a really good location. Near bus stop, tram stop, and mtr station. It is also a walking distance to shopping places (timesquare, lee theatre, sogo, h&m).The matress is bouncy, but is still good for me. There are two halal eating place (wai kee duck rice and islamic canteen in ammar mosque)
Good budget hotel and value for money. Clean and convenient. After long-day work, I get taxi to Zenxes Foot Retreat in Happy Valley. Take foot and body treatment there. To my surprise, there are so many foreigners enjoying Zenxes. I feel totally relaxed hereafter. Very professional and modern.
We stayed at Best Western at Causeway bay for three nights. In general, we found the staff to lack enthusiasm for their work, adopting an almost nonchalant/lackadaisical attitude. When we first arrived, we attempted to check in our rolling luggage. However we were told to go to Reception on the 3rd floor. Then, at Reception we were told to go BACK down to the 1st floor! It was very confusing and wasted a lot of time. This is a very bad attitide, especially because the Manager clearly saw we needed to check in luggage but still directed us to the wrong place. Even though we ordered two Non smoking rooms, both rooms had a strong odor of cigarette smoke even when you run the fan. Management seems to be aware of this problem because the room automatically runs the fan when you walk in, but it is not enough to clear the room. Despite this setback, we believe we have found a solution. We used a small but powerful air purifier that can plug into an outlet. After an hour the room was clear. I hope management will implement air purifiers into the non smoking rooms (they are about $10 and can fit in the palm of your hand). Otherwise the room would have been uninhabitable. The staff had inconsistent cleaning. For the first day, they forgot to empty the trash can in one room but emptied it in the other. On our last day, they forgot to replenish our soap and our tea bags, but they gave the other room EXTRA soap. Our rooms were all on the same floor so I am guessing there was some miscommunication/mix up with the staff that occurred between rooms. This hotel is centrally located in a bustling area. It is conveniently located near the trams and buses. The view is great and you can even see the waterfront from an angle. We also took some very nice pictures at the Observatory. Lastly we appreciated the fact that they gave us 4 water bottles every day. However, if given the choice we would NOT stay here again. There are many other options and it is not worth the trouble to stay here.
Location is good. Eventough doesnt look like a 4star hotel. Tiny rooms
This is a budget hotel, so I'm going to rate it base it. With that said, this place is weird. The main entrance isn't on the main street and check-in is on the 2nd Floor. But there is a lobby on street level! Our room was small, but it's typical Hong Kong. If the staff were friendlier, perhaps I would have given more stars.
budget hotel - value for money
hotel room is small, very expected from HK hotel.
Toilet is small too but still ok.
Location is great.
In an ideal location near the race track and times square this cosy place has friendly staff. One must take an elevator to get to reception.
I do not know if there is anything other than a basic room,
The basic rooms are really small.
There is nothing you can do besides lying in bed.
Of course, there is nothing bad about the accessibility and price around you.
Breakfast is normal.
Good hotel. Near to market. Easy to find food and mall. But the environment is little bit dirty but the hotel is clean..
Convenient to MRT station, easily access to anywhere you want to go. There is lot of choices of restaurant. Hotel is comfortable but not suggest to eat hotel's buffet.
*Dirtiest entrance to the back alley of a meatpacking thoroughfare. All the trash and smells.
*Old, carpeted musky building.
*Rooftop Jacuzzi = 15ft long cold water with no jets
*Irate, job-resenting staff
*Repeat unnecessary re-keying process when requesting confirmation of room number, after leaving a key for another guest at front desk, and because Saturn returned.
*Worst unintuitive layout requiring multiple elevators to reach room
*Luggage storage in the open adjacent to main entrance with regular absence of staff
.I could keep going, but yea.
Receptionist service bad not useful.. And should supposed to explain for guest.. But not
Room and toilet just OK for stay but not impressive
The room was poor quality. Two lumpy single beds squashed into a tiny space with 10cm either side makes a pretty low standard double room. The amenities were serviceable. Nothing fancy but everything was there. The service quite average. We thought we had ordered a package including breakfast, but when our room wasn't listed, we asked to have the breakfast charged to our room but the staff insisted we get up in the middle of eating to go downstairs to pay.
The location of the hotel is good, 1 minute walking towards 3 bus stop, 2 minutes walking towards tram station (Morrison Hill), 4 minutes walking towards MTR station (Causeway Bay)
But the service of the staff were abysmal, not helpful at all.
Only consider this hotel if you plan to walk around alot
Staff was great and the location was superb although the surroundings was in a state due to construction going on nearby. We stayed on the 35th and the views was spectacular. Close to great restaurants and Metro station. Room was small but it's to be expected in Hong Kong and based on our room rate I'm not complaining. I would stay there again.
Very small room, like other hotels in the area. If you expect get nice room, forget. But for the price, its what you get in that area. No any support for bell boy.
Right in the heart of the city, good view and pretty good considering the price you pay. No major complaints.
