A great way to spend an afternoon hiking around the reserve (not too arduous and the entire place takes just over an hour to walk around, if you weren’t stopping)

I’d get there early as possible to ensure it’s quiet and you get to see as much of the coatimundi and spider monkeys. The bridges are a nice touch and the overall cleanliness and condition of the reserve was great.

The butterfly sanctuary is well worth visiting too!

This was an amazing experience. We did the ultra extreme zip lining and it was well worth it. Be warned though, it is quite a hike to the top.

A beautiful place to learn about the history of the lake, see lots of butterflies, hike, and even zipline. The restaurant isn't very good though so I would recommend planning to get some food in Panajachel either before or after you go to the reserve.

This is a really great place for all ages and a great way to get some exercise 😊. My family and I had a great time feeding the pizote which are small mammals that are related to Raccoons. Part of my family rode the zip lines and they had a great time. There are many bridges to cross and you can see lots of beautiful waterfalls too. We also walked down to the lake and had a swim.

Well kept Reserve. Beautiful waterfall, nice trails with lot of suspension bridges. Monkey & Coati were kept in an fenced off area, so everyone would not miss them. Butterfly garden was good, but not too many inside at the time of my visit. Went the lake side, and found excellent view there.

A little cost-prohibitive if you’re on a budget, so we skipped the ziplining. But the waterfall, monkeys, and butterfly garden made it totally worth it. Staff were subpar and not very helpful.

Zip line was awesome. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Cool to see the monkeys and birds on the hike to the top of the zip line.

If you like nature, this is the place for you! Here you can find butterflies, monkeys, hanging bridges, waterfalls, zip line and much more! Everything is green and beautiful during rainy season (May - September). Do not forget to bring good shoes and water --there's a lot of climbing to do--, and of course lots of bananas for the monkeys!!!

Nice nature reserve easily walkable or a short tuk tuk ride from Pana. The highlights were spider monkeys and racoon type animals that I forget the name of, make sure you take a bit of fruit with you to coax them down. There are also some nice rope bridges and waterfalls, a butterfly house and a small cafe. There are some zip lines that you can go on the looked good.

So beautiful! The trail to the waterfall has several suspension bridges with spider monkeys a long the way. The view at the top of the long bridge is worth the hike!
The butterfly garden was amazing. Can't wait to come back & camp here.

I didn't do the zipline or walk the trails. I enjoyed sitting in the open dining room area while waiting for my friend to zip. The free WiFi helped.

The nature reserve has it all. They even point out where the closest Yeti is. There are plenty of hiking trails, a quality butterfly exhibit, and the zip lining course was AWESOME!

This is a national reserve. You can hike the trails up to a water fall and down to the lake. They also have zip lines for the more adventurous.

Very relaxing and the room was great. Service was okay as the one person who spoke English didn't reaaaally speak much English. The room had hot water and was always very clean. There were quite a few ants and bugs in the room, but it is called the Natural Reserve so it's not totally shocking. Overall, I really liked staying there. The only issue is that breakfast was included in our stay and upon checkout, they wanted to charge us for "extra items" that my friend and I ordered. They never told us that we had a limit or that we could only get one item off the menu until we checked out. That's a bit confusing, but I think we may have not been charged for a few things, so it even out. Wish they had a true English speaking staff member so that check in and out could have been more smooth. Everyone was very nice l, though, and the zipline was a lot of fun. Most things were closed due to recent bad weather, but I'm sure those would have been nice.

Everything about the lake towns was an awesome experience. The people were friendly and helpful. The food was great, the markets was also great. I recomend a trip here if in the area.
