Excellent city hotel right on Puerta del Sol, probably one of the most popular squares of Madrid. Plush rooms with all the mod cons. The Balcony rooms are great value because it has unmatched views of the square.

If you want to be in the heart of "old" Madrid then this is the place to stay. It's right on the Puerta del Sol and a couple of minutes from La Plaza Mayor. The rooms are a nice size for this part of the world and the cafe downstairs is above average. Overall i really enjoyed my time here & couldn't have asked for a better base camp from which to explore Madrid.

Didn't care for this hotel. It is in the heart of the tourists scene so it's noisy, dirty, and smelly as soon as you step out. The rooms where decent enough. I don't recommend staying here.

Many rooms in this hotel have balconies that indirectly looks out to plaza del sol! I was surprised a place literally in the most central area with great amenities could have such a agreeable price. Def worth it for the location alone!

Went for drinks on the street, just north of the statue of Carlos III, good wait service, english. Not a bad spot, plenty of passers by and ok for dtinks only

Located right on the Calle del Carmen this hotel really made us feel the city vibe. You can observe the square and listen in on the performances right from your window.

I stayed here in June 2016 and it was an awesome experience! The rooms are very comfortable with beautiful bathrooms. The best part about this hotel is location, location, location. A literal stones throw away from Plaza de Sol, it is smack bang in the middle of Madrid with all the tourist attractions close by and a train station only a minute walk away. Stuff were friendly and attentive.
