Bathroom is old. The door doesn't open. Nothing in the minibar. Non room service. Impossible to get a parking spot in the hotel.
    A hotel from the seventies.

a strategist hotel for you the shopping and food lovers!!
there are so many restaurant, shop (branded and little shop) in the area of this hotel.

you can also go to department store(el corte ingles) just by accrossing the street in front of the hotel.
all along, the room is great, clean, and big
    the facility also good
and for the food (breakfast) is not to bad!

BarcelÓ Carmen Granada hotel location is good the big mall in front of it.
Rooms have thin walls you can hear the guest in the next room coughing all night.
The staffs need to be retained for customer service a smile will go a long way.

Be wary, on the website of this hotel, are newly and tastefully decorated rooms in light colors.
Our tour booked us a triple bedroom. To my surprise upon checking in we were given an old dated brown room with peeling bathrooms doors on the first floor of the hotel.

I proceeded to the counter and asked if we can have a newer room in the same class. The staff said none were available unless it is an upgrade. Ok, the computer on the hotel counter featured a charge of €20.00 for a Junior Suite desde and I am willing to pay.

The front desk lady informed me that this particular upgrade cost €90.00 that day since they are full. Ok, I am willing to get it and would like to see the room. The lady signaled a younger staff to go up with me, they conversed in Spanish and on the way up to the room, she said the room is €120.00 + €90.00 = €210.00/night if I like it.

Getting back to the counter she wrote the price out €210.00. Ok, I asked her to check my current booked Triple room with breakfast and deduct the cost to this new room. She said “NO” and this new room does not include breakfast. How can this be? At least there is a cost of my booked room. She said it was booked by the Travel agent and they do not know the cost of the room. I said, I paid our tour a bulk price surely the hotel has a file on the charges for one night. Under the eye of the older staff, she said no, they do not have any file in the hotel counter and if I want this room it is €210.00/night. So, you mean that my Triple room with breakfast has no cost at all?

I did not want to have any quarrel I just asked the hotel staff, if you were in my place, “Do you think this is fair?” Think about it.

Superb accommodations, fantastic location, and friendly but professional service. I would definitely return to this hotel. It was too cool for us to use the pool, but it is in a great spot to enjoy the city.

An excellent hotel but not the busiest. The hotel could make much more use of its excellent entertainment facilities which are well underused, if at all. A very comfortable hotel with excellent staff and very central location. Easy access and waking distances to everything you might want to see do or visit. Ask at reception they know a lot more about what's on than you might think and offer an affective consierge service.

Great hotel to stay at in Granada. Good rooms, good wifi, and good location near the center of town. I would definitely recommend.
