This hotel by international ratings is way below 3 stars. It is old and in dire need of a renovation. The food is bland and the breakfast buffet leave much to be desired. Their housekeeping is terrible and sometimes doesn't come at all. As with most hotels in Cairo, smoking in the lobby is the norm. The WiFi is very slow and restricted and is open. If you can afford to, rather stay elsewhere.

Very elegant decoration throughout, beautiful frescoes, amazing food. Bedrooms are clean but slightly shabby - a fresh coat of paint would help

The hotel is nicely located, it's convenient with easy access to Cairo city centre with wide range of options
To Restaurants and shops . You can also enjoy a nice walk along the Nile. The itself is equipped with all usual facilities of three/four stars hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful.response / report this review -

Quite loud and glitzy lobby. Room was clean and room service was good. The breakfast buffet was plentyful with great selection of pastries. The location is convenient for exploring Cairo on the metro.

I am currently staying in this hotel and unfortunately have to stay in the same for few more days.
I will not recommend it to anybody.
This is most pathetic hotel I have seen till date with 5* cateogory.
Most pathetic service, Nobody comes to attend you until you shout at them.
Telephone doesn’t work , WiFI is horrible, Room not cleaned properly , Key stops working everyday, Heaters doesn’t work.
Nobody is there to give you any info and they misguide you instead of guiding you.
Breakfast in not upto the mark.
