Horrible experience the staff was not polite I don't know if it was because I was Spanish or what but the started off very bad gave us a room with a horrible view after I booked a year ahead I was getting picked up and it took me 10 minutes to get in touch with guest services because they didn't answer the phone then somebody answered gave me a quick number and hung up on me I went to opa with my 'family at 2:40 pm they said it was closed when they are supposed to close at 3pm ..the food was good but they don't have a lot of variety .

Cacroaches in Grazies restaurant !!!!!!!! Watch out people !!!! Went there to eat 1 am I saw big cacroaches on the floors and by panini sandwiches !!!

Horrible experience!!! Poor customer service, the water of all there pools were dirty to the point that me and my two girls came back with ear infection and taking antibiotics. The hotel will always run out of plates at the buffet, the hotel rooms were very small for a family of 4, the bathrooms were dirty and there was one day that the electricity went off causing the Hotel to go with no water and people not been able to take a shower. The water park was nice but they will close at 5pm and will not serve food at there location making the family go through the hassle of getting the kids out of the park to go get something to eat at the buffet. Overall the Hotel was a bad choice but thanks to the people I went on vacation with which by the way it was 34 of us and everybody feels the same as me, I had a great time.

We stayed here for a friend’s destination wedding. Two days into the trip, our wallets were stolen from our safe. We realized this after we couldn’t access it with our code (we were locked out) and a security technician had to open it for us. When they did, we instantly saw that our wallets were gone. We tried to meet with the manager immediately but were blown off – absolutely no sense of urgency on the hotel’s part. With how nonchalant their management was about a guest’s safe being broken into, I can only assume this happens quite frequently. We finally met with the manager who had no idea the wallets were in the safe (she thought we got drunk and lost them). She had the security team start an “investigation”.
They found our wallets the next day, and of course the cash was missing (and all credit cards already cancelled and worthless). I asked where they found them and they kept saying “a public place” on the resort but would never tell us specifically which “public place”. Interestingly enough, the night our wallets went missing, we were at a rehearsal dinner at a restaurant off-site and 40 minutes away. How could we have lost our wallets in a "public place" at the resort when we weren’t even ON the resort??
The worst part of this was not even the money that we lost – it’s all of the time we wasted and how terrible we were treated. We were continually told we were required to “wait in our room for security”, and then they would never come. We ended up wasting half of our (very expensive) vacation sitting in our room. THREE DAYS LATER, when security finally came to speak with us about the investigation, the head of security told us we “had no proof” that our wallets were taken (sorry, didn’t realize I needed to bring a nanny cam with me) and that we needed to admit we lost them. I was adamant that we had NOT lost them and asked to see the access reports from our safe and our room door. Security refused to let me see anything and told us to call the police if we didn’t like it. He was unprofessional, rude and completely unapologetic. I called to speak to the manager and was told she would “come right away”, but of course she never came. They literally could not have cared less about this entire situation.
I’ve traveled to several different countries and stayed in several foreign hotels – the staff at this hotel is the absolute worst. Save yourself the headache and stay somewhere else.response / report this review -

I travelled last week to the Royalton resort with my 10 year old daughter. The Sunwing transport service was terrible as they made us wait over 1 hour in the bus at the airport before heading to our hotel. They also did not supply any water or anything to drink while we waited. When we arrived at the resort after an exhausting day of travel, we were told that our room would not be available until 3:00 (even though the resort was half empty!). When we finally got to our room, it was FILTHY. There were hairs in the bathroom and on the beds and the bathroom was disgusting. When I showered, the entire bathroom became flooded and I had to get housekeeping to clean the flood and fix the leak (which took about an hour after making 7 calls- NO ONE spoke English!!!). This resort was advertised as a family friendly resort although there was absolutely NOTHING during the day for my daughter to do besides swim. There were NO activities for her at all. Also, the resort was bombarded with vacationers from the Memories resort next door which allows them full access! The resort grounds were very nice. The beach beautiful. The pools became jacuzzis from noon onward and provided no relief whatsoever from the heat. The food in general was very good. On our shuttle back to the airport, the same thing happened and we sat waiting in the bus for an hour which was terrible.
