Rosmery de Jesús Had helped me in every way that she could. She was very nice, respectful & smiling a lot under her mask. That was a very good thing. She made sure everything was to my liking. Help out on anything I needed. If I did need anything she made it Happen. She was all over the resort helping someone. Oh man she was great at job. I was very happy to have her. She never stop as I was seeing her in helping them. Making the resort a wonderful place to stay at again. She is a big asset to the company.
Alejandro Rivera, Yicel Del LA Cruz, Juan Guerrero, Reyna De Paula, Abelardo Rossio, Loriel Contreras & Felicia Beriguete, they All was very nice, friendly & helpful to anything I needed with a big smile each time I saw them somewhere on the resort.
Juan Carlos Santos was so very helpful as well. How he called me asked me what I need. Got it for me right away as I was a lil sick. Then called to check on me to see how I was feeling everyday.

Paradisus is just OK. Stayed there in summer of 2018, courteous staff, amazing food, gorgeous beaches and secure. But please be advised of their abusive refund policy should you need to check-out early for some unforeseen reason outside of your control.

Needs updating and better food. Beach and pool are beautiful. Some rooms not cleaned well and have ants. Find Willie for your bartender, he's great! Also had help from manager Jerry who helped make our trip so much better. We were a group of 12.

We went there for our 25th wedding anniversary and came back 2 days ago.
We are still amazed by the quality of service. To be served at a buffet, restaurant or any bar took a few seconds. Smiling, friendly staff.
Amazing food. Never used a pepper or salt shaker and did not gain any weight (easy on bread and desserts though :))Beautiful, spacey room with a lot of privacy (junior luxury).
Kudos to hostess Maria for a beautiful smile she greeted us every day.
Do not be cheap. The staff deserves to be tipped.

The beach is really nice, the rooms, just ok. There are different levels of rooms here. Some of the rooms have been re done and some have not. Make sure you don't get one that hasn't been updated. The actual grounds of the resort are really very very nice!

Very nice hotel to visit specially in holidays it’s really huge area that you can relax and enjoy your time with your family and friends in the mornings the breakfast starts from 7 am to 11 am launch starts from 1 pm and ends at 4 it has a lot of restaurants that you can really have some fun ,eat and experience delicious foods two restaurants are not free one of them is 24 hours open and it’s self service I really recommend you to visit the Japanese restaurant it’s really good make sure you reserve every single restaurant when you arrive at this hotel because the good restaurants are going to be filled out and it’s going to be no more space for you. I’m writing this review in aqua restaurant :)😂. In nights there’s a lot of activities that you can enjoy such as karaoke, concerts and other stuff. Nice place to seat near the beach . Delicious breakfast. Oh and by the way there’s a kids zone and baby zone in this hotel there’s day caring over there they keep your child and play with them there’s also a small room for babies from age 1-3 years there’s a lot of different toys my own baby went there and she enjoyed a lot. There’s a swimming pool for kids and a swimming pool for adults every thing is free in this hotel. When you go to the Mexican restaurant order the steak is really delicious . Aesthetically, the resort is beautiful but beware! This place a rip off! The resort "failed" on so may levels. Our group visited this resort to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday. There were 33 people in our group. We booked 17 rooms. The resort made in excess of 55,000 in revenue off our group. I made the mistake of signing a group contract to get discounted pricing for our group. Included in the contract agreement was a landing page, complimentary room and other amenities. Well it turned out the room prices were not discounted, the landing page didn't work and we didn't receive any of the amenities as promised including the complimentary room. We booked a total of 16 rooms and spent over 55,000 in room and special events revenue. They refused to give me the complimentary room because the room was booked outside of the block due to issues with the landing page which was their fault and the lady in group committed in writing to count the rooms. They changed the terms of the contract to their benefit.The contract was misrepresented and a hoax. Additionally, it was the consensus of the group that the food was terrible! Several people in our group became ill including myself. The rooms were okay but could use renovation. Be aware some of the Ocean Front rooms are misrepresented. If you want true Ocean Front rooms, be sure to book in bldg 19. The Ocean Front rooms in bldg 25 are obstructed but they will try to charge you the same price. Several of our guest requested to be moved which was an inconvenience. Overall, we overcame the issues and still had a good time but I'm still appalled at the handling and misrepresentation of the group contract. I have attempted to work with the resort to reach a resolution without success. Additionally, the staff refuses to give me the contact information for their legal department. It surprises me that this resort is 5-star. They are not customer focused all. I would not recommend or return to this resort.

Great staff, accommodation was clean. Food was surprisingly good. Lots of walking or you can rent a bike, no charge. Beautiful beach and great nightly entertainment.

Awesome honeymoon spot! Absolutely beautiful views. Juan Cruz is the bartender at the private swim up bar for the Royal Services and there is no one better!

This place looks gorgeous, but it ends there. Some staff are great, some are rude. Strong language barrier with many staff. Lack of transportation throughout the resort and it's a large resort. Food is pretty awful and drinks aren't strong. One staff member took our room key which has access to safe, Then she denied it. Watch out for the people selling timeshares! Go elsewhere, you'll enjoy your time and money more.

Horrible service the only good part was our butler. First thing we upgraded to royal service cause it was mine and my wife's anniversary so I spent an extra $820 to upgrade. To be honest i regretted it. Don't upgrade at this hotel cause what you get is not worth it at all!! The second night we went to a beach party and came back to our hotel and found bugs in our bed and I got bit on my forehead by a spider. Then the upgraded us to another suit and then we find it the toilet doesn't work and our ac was broke!!! Then a employee said he wouldn't even stay here. They don't change the bed daily they changed the sheets every 3 days. And the people at the royal service office were really mean to us. I wanted to have my anniversary be amazing but it's been nothing but a headache with this hotel!! I will never came back here EVER again!! I do not recommend.

We stayed at the Paradisus Punta Cana "The Reserve", and our experience could have been way better being that this is said to be a better experience overall. The rooms are ridiculously far from the beach, you have to take a trolley which on prior reviews I read that it was not a big deal as they pass frequently. This was not the case at all, we had to wait several times 30 to 40 minutes as you are only to use their train trolley because the smaller trolleys were for members only. They would pass by you empty, and would refuse to give u a ride. At one point there two trolleys parked outside the lobby a third one came parked and refused to take us to the beach. I got really upset and after complaining one of them took us, comes to find out they were celebrating an employees birthday. We didnt dine at their restaurants as we were a bigger group and they couldn't accommodate us all at the same time but the buffet was extremely small compared to other smaller resorts we have stayed at. So not happy with that either. The rooms where nice and well kept and some of the staff were excellent, Wilson Guzman by the pool was amazing! The entertainment in the pool and or beach area is ZERO, not even music. Had a bounce slide one day by the beach and again for members of the mini club. Only entertainment at the Hotel was at night by the Gaby beach which again if you stay at the Reserve u have to wait 40 minutes to get a trolley. Anyhow, if you choose to got to this resort be prepared to waste time and not be impressed with buffet, entertainment and or management.

IMPOSSIBLE to get through to the front desk. They simply don't pick up the phone. 3 times asked for the manager, and 3 times they hung up on me. The manager that showed up 2! Hrs later wad not even notified by the front desk melvin that a customer wanted to get I touch. Half of the staff speak no English. Melvin front desk, outright RUDE. Nor returning or recommending to anyone. Management and staff do NOT understand the value of the customer service.

Outstanding experience, great food, facilities and service. Fantastic beach and entertainment options. Beautiful grounds, lots of nice trails and walkways. Don't ride, walk! It's worth it! Rooms are nice, but the bathrooms are only so-so. Shower doors tend to open spilling water into the floor. Some bathrooms are cramped. Wife didn't like the bed, but didn't bother me at all.

Major problems with the management and communications at this resort. We had a delay in our arrival because of a flight cancellation and missed several days of our planned stay. We were unable to communicate by phone to rearrange our trip. Instead, we were told to email someone who lacked the English language skills to let us know our options. We figured that we would be able to get clearer information once we arrived at the resort. This was not the case. The staff put us off until the end of the trip. At that point, we were told that there were no options for credit or a future stay. Most decent hotels/resorts think about return business and try to solve problems asap. Buyer beware at this resort!

Celebrated my dad's retirement here last winter. We actually stayed on the reserve side. It was an amazing week filled with lots of great memories. The pools were awesome, the beach was nice and clean, the resort events (both day & night) were a lot of fun and the staff that put them on were especially friendly and fun to be around. So far this place has been great. Unfortunately it's been really windy and not that hot but it's not the resorts fault. We've been amazed at how well we've been treated. From our personal butler. To the wait staff. All have been so friendly. We'd definitely come again.
