Great office space
Good hotel
Good hotel especially food in restaurant.
Last minute was the best choice, Staff was wonderful I was in real need of a room after leaving another Hotel was a disaster 😡so I decided to give the Mercure Hotel a try and what a good night sleep I enjoyed every moment of it not to mention I was put in a privilege suite that sleeps 6 because house keeping did not have any single rooms available I wish I could have extended my stay a very clean Hotel that I must rate a five but in my eyes a ten it's diffinitley worth the stay😉
Good hotel, updated and kept at a cool temperature. They speak English and Spanish. Room rates are okay but the rooms are just that- rooms! Literally a small room and a bathroom, barely space to open luggage. I had chosen a standard room. They did the best they could as the buildings are small and hundreds of years old. NOTE:They have a strict guest policy where no one is allowed upstairs in the rooms if they dont have an ID to leave at the front desk(or just randomly denied admission). They discriminate against locals -I came to visit my father in Santo Domingo he wasn;t allowed updatairs even for a few minutes. Food/resturant on main level seems nice (open till ~11pm)and there are a lot of shops nearby(some hard to find because good businesses exist within houses/building with no signs). Very pretty courtyards around town as well as colonial era(Colombus era) ruins and churches. Also, cool resturants.
