The day after our wedding (at our resort) we rented a huge boat to thank all of our friends and family for coming. I went through La Barcaza after talking to many different vendors due to their rates and the size of the boat. Our experience was wonderful. They picked all 40+ of us up from from our hotel in two buses and drove us about 30 minutes away to the marina. We all loaded up on this massive double decker boat and took us to a snorkeling spot, provided all of the gear and instructions to those who have not snorkeled. From there we went to an area with 3-4 feet of water and hung out for an hour or so. It was a BLAST. We did unlimited alcohol on the boat, bought sandwiches, and had a DJ. Even though our wedding was the day prior and was amazing, everyone told me this was their favorite part of the trip and thanked me 100x. It was a perfect ending to our amazing week with family and friends.

We did a Wedding Rehearsal Night Cruise for 32 plus infant with appetizers, drinks, music and dancing. Everything was perfect. Quick response to emails and made sure we got everything we asked for, on time for pick up, assisted elderly on and off boat, professional fun staff, great music. Everyone had a fantastic timeand dances the night away on a beautiful boat . The water was very calm and no one felt queazy or nervous. Highly recommend this company. Totally exceeded all expectations.

My mom and stepfather, Lisa and Brian Ruby recently got married this March 2018 with La Barcaza. The private beach ceremony was beautiful and the reception on the boat was super fun! We had such a great time dancing on board and swimming in the water right off the boat. The wedding planner, Agota was amazing, guiding my mom through the whole process and assuring everything went smoothly. My mom raves about how quickly and efficient Agota was with email and call correspondence helping my mom with planning the day, decorating, and selecting a photographer and cake. The staff was friendly and assured a great time on board dancing and socializing with the guests to help the party get started. The staff was also accommodating to our 56 wedding guests and the impending windy weather and waves. The food and drinks provided during the reception were plentiful and delicious, and the cake was the best cake we’d ever had! Thank you for the beautiful wedding day and the wonderful memories we will never forget!

We had a great time having our wedding with La Barcaza in January 2018. We had a total of 15 people at our wedding and the boat was perfect for us! Everything was perfect and way above our expectations. From the beginning, Agota was very quick to reply to emails and any questions we had, also very up front and honest about prices (which was waaaaayyyy more reasonable than anything else we researched in Punta Cana). During the day, Agota was also there to help move things smoothly. The beach was decorated perfectly for our ceremony and the boat was beyond expectations. The food and drinks were plenty and really good. The crew was very helpful as well, one of them even carried me from the boat to the beach so I don't get my dress wet!

Welllllll let me tell you I just had a lunch reception for my wedding on the boat on 12/16/17 . I was very impressed by the service. They were very responsible , punctual for pick up and drop off. My guest had so much fun! I booked from 2-5 pm it was an excursion and lunch ! We all had the option of snorkeling or just getting in the water. We had the mix grill, open national bar and an amazing DJ. If I could press repeat I would do so! Thank you for your amazing time and hard work 😘😘

We used La Barcaza Wedding and Party boat for a Welcoming party for our destination wedding in Punta Cana, DR. At first, we were concerned due to the unknowns about giving cash abroad. We took a chance and it was worth every penny. The boat took us to a snorkeling spot which was a tad rough in the water, but plenty of fish to see. Then we went to a nice secluded area that we were able to hang out in the water, listen to music, take pictures, and drink. It was so scenic and perfect. The boat was a huge highlight of our destination wedding! We continued to cruise around and had a blast with the DJ and boat crew! We had about 40 people and there was still plenty of room to dance and bounce around the boat. This was definitely worth it. I worked with Agota in the planning phases and she was great, responsive, trustworthy and reliable.

Exceptional in absolutely everyway! We had our wedding on the La Barcaza and it far exceeded any expectations we had - perfect, unique, personal, and memories for a lifetime. I smiled from beginning to end! Agota (the planner and coordinator) went above and beyond to make our night so special. I would HIGHLY recommend!!! XOXO (Wedding Aug 5, 2017) - PERFECTION!!

Sincere thanks to the team of La Barcaza for making our July 7th wedding celebration such a special, intimate and memorable experience for our entire family. Our private beach ceremony was all that we imagined - romantic, personal and private. Dinner was delicious and the dancing was such fun! 4 hours was a perfect length - disembarking on a high, leaving everyone wanting for just a bit more! All generations had a wonderful time. We definitely made the right choice to part from the impersonal and public hotel provided ceremony experience. Thank you La Barcaza!

The food was great as well as the secluded location on the beach for the ceremony. Being professional photographers we worked at La Barcaza more than a few times and can recommend them without a doubt.
Daniel and his team make sure you enjoy every minute of your wedding day while enjoying the amazing views from the boat.

La Barcaza staff were the best ever!!!! We decided to do something different for our wedding reception and surprise our guest by not telling them where we were going after the wedding (at the Royalton.)
Prior to the wedding, the communication between myself and the event coordinator was A+. She responded quickly every time and answered all my questions. I could tell right away that they wanted to make this the best experience for us.
We met with the coordinator 2 days prior to the reception at the lobby of our resort. She took lots of notes to make sure that the boat was decorated the way we wanted it to be. She was amazing, professional and super friendly!!!
The day of the wedding they came and picked us up on time, drove us to the a beach where we took a little boat to get on the party boat. That was a lot of fun (part of the experience). On the way there we realized that we had forgotten our wedding cake. I was devastated. Guess what?! Without us asking, they decided to try to get the cake from the resort (Not an easy task with such a high security place). They made it work and brought our cake back with a small motor boat. They did not have to do that.. but they did! Now that's good service! We got to do the cake celebration after all!
The decorations was exactly what we wanted. The dj was flexible to play all kind of music. The food was cooked on the boat and was excellent. The staff were super nice and a lot of fun. All our guests loved it and had an amazing time!! I strongly suggest the La Barcaza to anyone. We will definitely return! Thank you La Barcaza crew!!! :-)response / report this review -

We had worked in La Barcaza for a lot of weddings since a few years now. People have always had a great time there, they have an excellent team and awesome boat, food, entertainment and decoration from the best in town. Really like working there!

We rented out the La Barcaza Wedding Boat to have our wedding reception.
It was the best idea ever. We had the whole boat to ourselves to party for as long as we needed. We had a total of 76 guests. All my guests were so surprised to see this cool looking place that was cruising on the ocean. It was incredible. Everyone enjoyed Tropical Snacks and drinks especially the "House Special Cocktail".
My guests had the dinner options: "Vip Premium". Every dinner option was huge and delicious.
My guests enjoyed the food and danced all night long.

Very friendly and helpful staff! The view from the boat is just amazing! Great selection on drinks! The food was superb, especially the rock lobster!

My wife and I got married 5/17/14 through La Barcaza. We had the wedding on the beach and the reception on the boat. Everything was fantastic, Jorge was amazing and kept the party alive. I would recommend La Barcaza to anyone getting married or for a reception. Food on the boat was amazing, one of the best meals we had (we also went to the Jelly Fish & The Beach Club, both very good restaurants). We stayed at the Majestic Colonial (which was great as well), in the week we stayed we probably saw 50 beach weddings at our resort. One of the weddings had a bikini contest 30 feet away. We were originally going to have the wedding at the resort, we were so happy we did not do the ceremony at the resort, too many people, no privacy. We felt the price for the wedding was extremely reasonable for what we received, we wouldn't change one thing, La Barcaza gave us the special day we wanted.
