The food is great! The people are great! There is a ton of activities throughout the day, and they try to involve everyone. The rooms are always clean and mini bar is restocked daily. The bathroom could use an update, but it certainly won't ruin your holiday, as everything that is required is there and in good working order. Overall, it's a great place to take a holiday!

One of my favourite hotels. Not everything is perfect but the atmosphere and the staff make up for little inconvenience that may arise. It's a lovely hotel space with a nice beach, three restaurants (Japanese is sooo good), wonderful reception area and nice rooms. It's hard not to enjoy your time here. I particularly loved the bar in the middle of a pool.

Iberostar is excellent. The price for what is included is right on. The grounds are immaculate and employees always working hard to maintain the facilities. Everyone was always friendly and went above and beyond to help. Special thanks to Antonio for assisting us to our room and your hospitality and to the gentleman at the front desk who assisted with our check-in. There is a variety of food and restaurants to choose from. Lots of activities with staff involved. The ONLY negative I have is availability of beach chairs which are not supposed to be "saved". I wish there was a way this could be enforced. At 8:20 a.m. all the chairs with huts at the beach were "taken" by placing a towel, flip flops or even water bottles on them. There was nobody in these chairs for over 3 1/2 hours. It's a shame that people are so greedy they do this. This is not the fault of the resort but the people who feel the need to do this.

The staff is friendly, but not always helpful. They had booked us the wrong rooms (one of four correct) and would not even try and fix it or make up for it in any way.
The food was alright, but bland and after a few days, unappetizing. The three restaurants are mostly just more of the same food you will find at the buffet, although the spectacle during the Japanese dining experience adds some fun to the experience.
The beach front at the hotel must be the worst in the DR! It was consistently dirty and seems to be in the worst spot for attracting flotsam and seaweed. We mostly walked about five minutes down the beach to the next resort/public beach to enjoy the waves and sand. Again, the staff at the beach was mostly unhelpful. I tried renting a catamaran one morning, the attendant was on her phone talking the whole time and wouldn't explain to me why I couldn't get one. She seemed to prefer not helping me so I'd leave her be, not impressed.response / report this review -

Iberostar was very lovely. The people are all so friendly and helpful. they try their best to understand you and what your needs are. My personal concierge Alan was a great help as to getting around and making sure our conditions are suitable. The food was amazing and all the servers were very friendly. The entertainment crew were a lot of fun. Skinny, Blondie and Wifi always managed to keep everyone entertained.

Recently stayed at Iberstar Costa Dorada, the room service, staff ,resort over all very good But
if for what ever ther reason you do not eat beef or pork it is not the place to stay, all the food is contaminated in some way or another , by cooking on the same grill and using the same spoon/spatula to turn or serve the other food. So if you are a vegan, vegetarian, hindu or what ever the reason you do not east meat dot go ther. To be safe I servive on fruit and toast. Will not go there again. 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

My wife and i stayed Sept to october and the staff were absolutely great specially Edgar at the concierge desk he was very helpful and if we needed anything he was at hand , cannot fault the hotel we would recommend to our friends

Although my stay was great and the personnel was phenomenal, upon checking out I became aware that one of my belongings were missing. Reached out to the public relations department and ended up with an extensive email that led to nothing. Everyone BEWARE!

My girlfriend and I both had noting but positive things to say about the resort. We were treated like royalty, the staff are so courteous, our concierge Stephanie gave us out of this world customer service, the food was amazing, the drinks were great. You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here.

Very nice hotel. Room clean and spacious. Food plentiful and fresh. Pool got busy but fun if you like that. Beach was lovely. Natural trees for shade, soft sand for playing and clear areas for swimming plus some reefs for snorkelling/fish-watching.

I would like to thank Alejandro and Martin the concierge services staff for being welcoming and professional. They attended to my needs promptly and made me feel appreciated as guest of the resort. They went above and beyond to make sure I had the best possible stay.

This is my first vacation anywhere and it is incredible. As soon as we got here they welcomed us with open arms and our concierge Alan is SO amazing ! Words can't even describe the way he has made us feel. Make sure you get Alan because he literally is the best !!! He checked on us the first day to make sure we were ok after our first night drinking and it made me feel so safe and secure once he did that. The food here is amazing and lots to eat and drink. Every employee I have met is beyond amazing always greeting you and smiling. I am so happy I picked this resort because it is definitely 5 stars. The other resorts that we've been to during our excursions and touring the city have not compared to this one. I will definitely be coming back in the future and highly recommend this resort to anyone !

I loved everything about the staff, the food , the pool, the beach, the entertainment. It was so peaceful and the rooms were so nice. I love the peacocks that were there they looked beautiful. Everything looked amazing when I went.

Best resort. I fell inlove with the staff, everyone here is soo welcoming and nice. The food is amazing and the beach is amazing. The resort is very clean and beautiful. Definitely was not disappointed at all and I will definitely be coming back and recommending this place:)

Nice place! Great drinks, very friendly staff. Restaurants are great and the buffet is very good. The only (small) annoyances were that the room was lacking power outlets and the wifi was no reliable. But both issues did not prevent us from having great vacations.

Stayed here a few years back. Was a lovely hotel with nice staff but interiors of rooms were dated.
Didn't feel safe going out of resort without being on an organised excursion, something I didn't have in Mexico or Cuba.response / report this review
