The hotel is clean and well situated. Our booking of a triple room was messed up and we were given a double. The staff on hand were very good at resolving this but the staff member that caused the error was not at all apologetic, his politeness only out of concern that his manager would hear of the error. This left a very bad taste in our mouth

Arrived on the hottest day of the year only to discover there was no aircon! Asked for a room on the north side, hoping for less sun, not having read the reviews and noticed the construction work. 7am Saturday morning the builder let rip, forget a lie in. Plus points, rooms are nice enough (even included was a yoga mat!?!?) and the shower was excellent, more like a waterfall! Would stay here again in winter/autumn only without construction site
