Decent hotel but room is very warm and no option to turn radiator off. Conversely the bathroom is very cold but has a heater on a dial which is effective. Breakfast is good but quite cramped as hotel is full. Location pretty good with a 20 minute walk to the main square. Munich is a lovely city and well worth a visit.
This was not worth the cost, and we also had a significant billing issue that took 2 months to fix. The room was spartan for $300 a night, proximity to Oktoberfest fairgrounds or not. The prices in the hotel bar and restaurant were also nauseating. The gym, as it was, had rickety treadmills. They really need a new computer system for reservations and billing - honestly, they did not even have the ability to issue a refund to your credit card once you checked out.
Honestly I am quite disappointed. The room was not as advertised/booked and also the bed was one of the worst bed we have ever slept in an hotel. It was clean and the staff quite helpfull but the overall experience was not the best when you see the full picture.
Not a bad hotel. Reasonably close to the station, and quite helpful staff. Nice courtyard as well.
Wifi was terrible and receptionists weren't overly friendly. Breakfast for 19€ is also massively overpriced
Very friendly staff. Pretty reasonable prices at the restaurant/bar. Very clean room with all the amenities; safe, mini fridge, kettle, and tv. Very pleasant stay
Clean and comfortable, though fairly "no frills" (the free internet is terrible, though the cost of upgrading is minimal). All extras such as the drinks and pre-made sandwiches you can buy in the lobby, to the bottled water available in the rooms are exorbitantly priced, even for a hotel. There is definitely a sense of being "nickle and dimed". The rooms were quite small, but bear in mind that this is clearly a budget hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful, and I have no complaints about their conduct whatsoever. Located a couple blocks from the central station, and about a block from a U-Bahn station. The immediate neighborhood has nothing of any great interest, though it is located a very short walk from where they hold Oktoberfest (we were not there during festival time). Room service comes from the attached Italian restaurant, and is quite limited in hours. There is a small, unremarkable bar in the lobby. Overall, we were satisfied that we got what we paid for, but no more than that.
Nice hotel with clean and nice rooms. Had a good stay here!
Location good for main station about a 10 mins walk. Rooms nice. Underground is a 5 min walk away
Nice clean rooms if a little small, about a 10 minute walk to the main train station, nearest underground station is 5 minutes away and about a 20 minute walk to the centre (rat haus)
