Overpriced for what it is offering, extremely kitsch interior (that some people may appreciate), nice breakfast, friendly staff.
Great little hotel in the proximity of the central train station. Small but very clean rooms, somewhat dated or tastelessly decorated but service is impeccable. Best perk: just a 20 stroll to the Oktober Fest venue.
We booked a room here for Oktoberfest to be close to the train station and to the fairgrounds. It worked out great. The rooms are very clean, staff was helpful, and location great. We didn't hear any noise and the beds are comfortable as well.
Location of hotel is great. The room was practical and not luxurious. Stayed here for Oktoberfest, so I'm not sure how the regular prices are during other seasons. This was decently priced relative to others in the area. The overall space is rather small, especially the bathroom. We didn't have breakfast here, but was available for an additional fee
We had a wonderful time at the Hotel Alfa.
The Hotel representatives were friendly and accommodating at all times. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was lovely and yummy.
The location of the Hotel is superb since it is quite near the main train station but still quiet.
We will definitely stay here again when visiting Munich.
Staff is very friendly! Good location, close train station.
Room was clean but much smaller than advertised. I was offended by his 4 ungroomed head hairs. He tried to offer us highly inflated prices for oktoberfest tickets. Found out we didn't even need tickets to attend
Great, quiet little place right by the train station, highly recommend it!
Service staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were great for the price. There was an up charge for a room with AC but since it was down in the 50s at night, the room was very comfortable with the window open. We were on the 4th floor but there is an elevator that can hold 4 people. There is a bar downstairs and since check in is at 2, they will hold your bags so you can explore the area without dragging them around. The street is very quiet and felt safe. Internet access was $3 a day per device. Breakfast is included and is quite nice with meats and cheeses as well as yogurt and cereal. It wasn't a luxury 5 star hotel but doesn't claim to be. I would recommend this hotel to those on a budget but still wanting privacy and amenities.
Clean and useful to be at the city center.
As a personal opinion compare to Madrid (another nice European city) and to be a 3 stars hotel, price is a little bit expensive.
