It's a really nice location. The stuff was very friendly. I loved the atmosphere. The dinner was great and also the beer. I can recommend it.

Beer was great. Place is big and staff are nice. Only let down was they didn't have food the day we went, only a light menu (which wasnt good).

Beautiful building and interior. Didn't eat there, so can't comment on that But quite disappointing local beer, with added syrup for sweetness. Unfortunately nothing special.

I adore the beer they sell! Every month has a different spezialbreu and the regular Havelbreu is great on its own! I'd go there every day for a beer and Currywurst mit Pommes if my waistline could handle it. Waitstaff speaks decent English and are kind, tho on a busy night, don't expect to have speedy service. This is more of a place to hang out with friends and spend a lot of time eating, drinking, and chatting!

Good local homebrewed beer, big food portions and a nice beer garden atmosphere. Despite the name, the beer garden does not offer views of the river though.

Tasty cuisine and great beer for every taste. Small negative is the speed of the waiters on weekends and holidays.
NB: 🍻 Ask for beer bonus card if you visit this place often - buy 10 liters and get one for free.

Tasty German cuisine in a fancy setting

A classy brick building hosts a fancy setting inside, with very little kitsch in decoration but lots of wood and metal, decorated in the form of thousands of little details. We came for lunch---a quick decision based on online ratings of nearby venues.

The beer they make is very good. Tasty, refreshing, neither too terse nor too sour---would be perfect for a summer day. As we sat there for almost an hour people kept coming with bottles to by some of it for home.

The food is all German, with lots of meat, cabbage and potatoes, and at that it’s quite tasty. Served quickly by a friendly staff who also did well speaking English.
