Rooms are great. Clean etc. Breakfast is OK.
WiFi is a joke 0.75mb download and upload speed. If you want faster you pay €3.50 a day!
We stayed here over the weekend of the 18th and 19th of November juts gone, and its one of the best hotels we have stayed in. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised to hear we had been upgraded. The room was spotless and modern, it was more like an apartment that a hotel room. The restaurant was excellent and the staff couldn't have been more friendly or accommodating.
Great place, good sized rooms, a pool, very helpful staff. All round one of the most enjoyable family hotels I've stayed at
Loved it! We felt very comfortable at The Adina. The property is impeccable and convenient to all Berlin attractions. The indoor garage was a big plus. The staff was awesome. We would stay here again.
Is one of my favorite hotel in Berlin. It’s actually not IHotel it is a small apartment for you to feel at home. What I like is the washing machine is the small kitchen. So when do you have to relax after long journey on electric bike to Berlin beautiful streets or just wait for another meeting you can do whatever just be as you’re at home
Spacious 6th floor apartment with city views. Nice and clean with balcony. Close to main train station and tram links. Walking distance toshops, bars and restaurants
Nice room, good amenities. Noisy neighbours.
Near Charite hospital and short walk to Brandenburg gate. Multiple good restaurants nearby.
The service is very nice. The breakfast is good also. The room looks great, suited for ppl who plan to make the meals inside: there is a stove, microwave, many kitchen tools.
However:
The hotel is really close to the hospital so one can hear the siren
If you wish to sleep in a room of 3 ppl, don't! There is a sofa that they open into a bed, not appropriate at all. Take only two ppl's room.
Rooms are amazing.
Location: The location is fairly good. It's a 10 minute walk from the main station (Hauptbahnhof), but there are a lot of hotels which are closer to S-Bahn stations which in my opinion are more convenient.
Rooms: This was the last hotel on a 5 week round the world trip. It was the most well equipped room of any of my stays mainly because it's designed as an all inclusive apartment. The included washer and dryer were extremely convenient particularly when staying in Berlin for a longer period (or like me, at the end of a long trip with a reasonable amount of laundry in need of a real wash).
I know the Adina brand well because I it's a brand which comes from my home city of Sydney, Australia. They try to make the experience feel like a home away from home (although the idea was to escape Australia for a while)
But while the Australian touches are notable throughout, it ends the second you're greeted by the Germanic staff. Throughout Germany it's always efficient, but to the point and never empathetic. Adina was a perfect example of this. The check-in was abrupt and almost rude. I almost avoided calling the front desk after the experience.
The location and staff are the reason for the -1 star.
