  Mar del Sur is a lovely hotel resort where the staff are only to happy to be of assistance in any way. Lasaro, the head chef is very talented at creating culinary delights to suite any palate. Other than the "A la Carte" restaurant which is available to all guests for a quiet evening repast, meals are served in a large and colourful separate dining building ! The pool is magnificent, with several walking bridges crossing it and surrounded by private shade awnings, and an excellent venue for all of the evening entertainment, which is of the highest caliber- featuring such excellent local musical bands as "La Crema" and wonderful dance troops like "Las Morlas".
  
  The fantastic Varadero beach is located just a short two blocks away.
