WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

I visited the bar with my mother and purchased two bottles of water, only to find that the second bottle was not sealed and tasted like it had been filled with tap water. As it's not recommended that you drink the tap water in Havana, while we'd paid for the mineral water, this was extremely disappointing. I tried to raise this with the bar staff, however they just starred at me blankly and pretended not to understand (despite being able to understand me perfectly just moments before).

Situated in the heart of Havana Old Town (havana vieja). Beautiful design. Its personnel is dressed in monks outfits. They say there are no windows in the rooms. (cannot confirm, just popped in for a moment to sip mojito drink made by a bartender in looking blike a monk - check my photo if you dont believe).

Hotel sobre valorado. La ubicación es muy buena. El desayuno es repetitivo, el cual lo sirven en un restaurante a unos metros del hotel. Mi habitación no tenía ventana, me imagino que debido a ello olía a húmedo. Todo el hotel huele a una mezcla de humedad y tabaco.

Muy buena ubicación, en la Habana vieja. Bonita decoración. Pero, muy lejos de ser un hotel boutique. Yo iba con mi marido y esperábamos una habitación con cama matrimonial, pero nos dijeron que todas eran de dos camas. La atención depende del trabajador de turno, algunos muy amables, otros no tanto.
Tiene detalles, por ejemplo, a nosotros nos tocó la tina saltada y con óxido, el cielo de la habitación con manchas de humedad. A un matrimonio que iba con nosotros, les tocó una habitación en que el WC no tenía tapa, a la puerta del baño le faltaba un vidrio y estaba tapado con un cartón.
El desayuno lo dan en un restaurante a pocos pasos, poco abundante y poco variado.

Das Kloster ist ganz nett zum anschauen.
Würde aber nicht empfehlen dort zu übernachten. Im Zimmer hat es ca 80% Luftfeuchtigkeit, es gibt keine Fenster. Und das Personal ist sehr unhöflich und desinteressiert.

Our stay here was initally bad but turned very good in a few minutes. Our first room had mold in the bathroom. We were immediately moved to another room which was perfect. Hotels of this era and the climate make keeping these rooms clean difficult. The hotel staff were very accommodating and put us in touch with a private local travel guide who made our trip most memorable. The inclusive breakfast was just down the block at a local restaurant

Very nice hotel, beautifully refurbished and in an excellent location. However, the staff are incredibly rude and unhelpful. One of the security guards met us on the street and actually stole money from us while we were on our honeymoon. Avoid if you can, much better places available in Havana.
