Just got back from this resort. Workers are very helpful the rooms spacious and very clean. The food is good. Pool and waterfront great. I really enjoyed it. The Cuban people very friendly willing to have you enjoy your visit.The old cars are fun try to get the convertibles because the enclosed cars have no air and most windows don't go down. I really enjoyed Cuba and don't believe all the negative suggestions enjoy enjoy

First time in Cuba so didn't know what to expect. But the hotel was very well laid out. First time I have been to a pool where there have been lots of loungers un occupied. Beach smashing, entertainment great. Lots of choices of food but it was a bit bland but always a burger or salad to eat. Lots of Canadians there who have been before and come well equipped with flasks with handles on to take Away with drinks in. We'll worth it

Stayed there last December (2015) during x-mas until NYears. Was approached after second day by the management saying they were overbooked and offered us a free weeks stay, all inclusive (identical to what we had) if we agreed to complete our stay at another hotel down the road. Flights not included. They signed an agreement saying so, along with around a dozen other couples. 18 months to use the free week. My wife and I decided to book our free week after nine months. The hotel never replied so I called. They told me the manager is no longer there so the agreement is no longer valid.
Food was below average (cold and greasy), hotel was run down with leaking ceilings when it rained. Service was ok, nothing special. Ended up being, the hotel we completed our week at was much better, with both food and infra-structure. A little smaller and more personable, we thought. We actually inquired, while we were in the new resort, to see if we could use our free week there instead of Bella Costa. We will not be returning to this hotel for obvious reasons. Do not recommend all inclusive because of the food and beware if they approach you with a deal. Not to be trusted obviously.
