  Unless the focus of your trip is the Tropicana nightclub, or the Canadian Embassy, you will find the location a significant problem. It is far from Old Havana or from any of the amenities of Vedado and Miramar. Expect to pay 50 CUC a day for taxis.
  
  The hotel has a nice pool and bar. It was my impression on my stay that security is lax, and that there were uninvited guests (if you know what I mean).
