The food was excellent, however the prices are very high. We ordered 2 fish taco orders and a order of French fries and one beer. The total was $40.00.

So, so good. I had the poke bowl, while my husband had the poke nachos - both were outstanding. We were also delighted with the quality of the craft beers and cocktails (especially the watermelon mojito!). Do yourself a favor and make a reservation - not only does the restaurant prefer it, you’ll get a table with an especially good view that way. I love The Lookout.

We went ad a group of 10. The service was exceptional as was the food. The sun set was outstanding. The owner took time out for each table, getting feedback on his staff and the food. Thanks again it was a great night all around.

The view is amazing, the food is even better! Had the octopus burger and it was unbelievable! My girlfriend had the tuna poke bowl and I kind of wish we went again just to have it!

Wow! Not only is the view amazing at Sunset but the food is also deliciously amazing. The chef has put together a small but delectable menu, that is worth going to the Outlook more than once just to sample the other items on the menu. Yum, Yum, Yum!

Drinks were good with nice selection of craft beer and cocktails. Took 15 minutes to have waiter show up to table for drink order. After 50 minutes, nobody had taken our food order so we got up and left. Can't even say if the food was good because it took so long. Otherwise, great view, music, and decor. Would return and try again if we thought we could actually order food in a reasonable time

Good food. Just be mindful of dishes being over dress in sauce. Amazing views and good service

Most memorable Thanksgiving in a very long time! All the food was fantastic! The ahi nachos were most amazing! Very friendly staff.

The view was great, we went at night think day would be simply stunning. They seemed very understaffed with large groups too and it took a long time for orders to be taken. The drinks were delicious but the food we got was extremely average for the price, the lobster toasted sandwich was very tasteless and seemed to lack lobster. Owner seems rude from previous correspondence hence a worse star than I would have given

Hillside hotel-restaurant south of Playa del Coco that has recently started a nano-brewery project called Monkey Head. 30 different singles from about 10 Costa Rican breweries available in bottle coolers for take away (about $5 US each), including some breweries that were not in the database yet. So for all it offers (rooms, food, view, bar, brewery), just as a take-away bottle shop it has one of the best selections outside of the central valley.
