Only meal location I had twice in my stay in playas del Coco. Fast, cheap and very good. Out of the 4 different soft taco options, I found the chicken " the jerk" to have the best flavor. But you can't go wrong with any of the options (chicken, pork, chickpeas, fish). Cash only but ATM is located on site.

I'm a vegetarian so I went with the herbivore tacos which are made with a chickpea (garbanzo bean) stew. Regarless of the hot sauces you put on the taco, the chickpea stew flavor overpowers everything else. It's a messy taco as well but you have access to a lot of paper napkins. My tacos were made with flour tortilla which felt kind of hard at the tips. Probably go with corn tortilla next time. Overall it's an interesting taco but I think I came in with too high of an expectation from reading other reviews on Google and Tripadvisor.

Chorotacos serves made to order mouthwatering tacos with just the right amount of seasoning and spice to create fiesta of flavors. This place is a taco oasis anyone shall seek and conquer on your way to Playa Del Coco who wants the taste of Mexico in the land of pura vida.
