Made a reservation. Showed up on time to find the place was all locked up. Managed to get an employees attention to open up the security gates. Service was great. Food was good but portions were ridiculously small. No bread or buns provided. No tap water available necessitating the purchase of commercial bottled water. As well there is a 30% extra surcharge for credit cart users. Disappointed.

Excellent food and authentic atmosphere. The servers were very professional and courteous. Food and wine was top notch. Small portions, but wonderfully prepared. Certainly best meal in a long time. The location is odd as it's in a low light back alley behind a lumber yard But once inside, it's great!

Possibly the best, most authentic Italian food outside of Italy.in Costa Rica, of all places! The owners/operators (husband & wife from Venice & Florence) are friendly, efficient, talented and welcoming. Our group of 15 are all still raving the morning after. The ambiance is charming and comfortable. Honestly, you can’t go wrong. Sooooo good!!

What a great, quaint, and clean restaurant. Food was outstanding, out of this world. I had the Ravioli with Saffron. N

Pasta good, service rude, food poor. Waiter/owner was openly impatient w my mom as she took longer to order. Seems we got a rancid glass of wine as punishment. Mushroom pasta good. Tomato meat sauce tasted like the can it came from. Fried calamari were caked w fried batter and hiding small pieces of tasteless squid. I only write this because my mom thought me a love of great meals by showing me how to make tomato sauce from scratch, the true test for any Italian restaurant. The owner/waiter did not hide his disgust for us though we were polite and spent a lot of money.

The service was impeccable! The food was amazing! I had the homemade ravioli in saffron cream sauce with pistachios. My husband had the beef tenderloin. It was so good we made reservations before we left to come again the next night so we could sample more of the menu.

Nice Italian restaurant out of the busy down town. Walk in and discover a comfortable setting. Service is excellent and food is delicious.

Fantastico! Diamond in the rough.. Taste of Tuscany, oddly enough, in Central America!
    6 stars! Edible poetry!
