Absolutely lovely, especially for the wildlife.
They have an alligator pond where you can see them swim or sun themselves. They have their own chicken farm so you know those eggs are free range. There is a butterfly garden onsite, as well as a horse. You can visit all these animals by hiking around the property. There are multiple routes, all around a kilometer long.
The best part however, (in my opinion) was the bird-watching. Every morning around 6 AM, the staff set out a bunch of fruit for the birds and within 5 minutes, if you sit still enough you can get some amazing photographs. Most are really small, really colorful ones (tanagers, I'm told). The most interesting, were these long necked and long legged brown birds, called chakalakas. The most IMPRESSIVE however, were the toucans. Not classic toucans like you saw in the Lion King, but more colorful, and smaller. Really cool.
Rooms are air-conditioned and clean. Beds are comfortable. Each room has its own little ground floor balcony with a hammock.

We stayed here for one night & it was beautiful! The staff was super friendly aswell.

Love the place. Stayed for two nights with an EF tours trip with my high school. Very beautiful area, and very clean hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone that wants a secluded feel but still has access to tourist-type activities. Of all the hotels I stayed in during the trip, this was by far my favorite.

Great prices for this incredible eco friendly hotel. I'm sure that if they ever decide to post on the travel sites that they could charge double. Staff very friendly and everything was very clean
