The place is very nice and has a great service, the lunch was good but the dinner was mediocre, the hamburger (hamburguesa sueño azul) it's super plain and flavorless as well as the pasta.

off season. Everything was made for something big some time ago. Very friendly staff. And the bridge was strong enough ;-)

The potential of this hotel for birdwatchers is greatly overlooked. With the likes of Great Green Macaw and Sunbittern being regularly sighted, just imagine all of the other species that can be seen here! Definitely among the best lodging options in the Sarapiquà area. (Too bad that they recently decided to "clean up" the, formerly, very birdy pond next to the parking area.)

I loved it here. It gives you a real sense of Costa Rica. There is WiFi at the bar but no AC in majority of the rooms and you do have to walk forever to your room. Put on your BIG BOY PANTS and deal with it cause its great. Bartender is about as good as a rookie and the prices are a little high for the size of drinks. Coming from Texas we are use to large drinks, cold rooms and BBQ. NO ICE in our small drinks, fans only in windowless rooms and great food.
Trust me once you get here that the negative parts fade away with the music, drinks of Imperial and NOTHING AROUND YOU.response / report this review -
