Cozy and quiet describes this place best. Ronny our waiter was always super friendly and funny! The room was nice enough and not too expensive. Pools were rarely busy. Located close to a playa Hermosa beach which wasn't busy at all when we were there. A cab to playa de coco will be about 15 USD each way.

Is a good place if all you want is to sit & relax very calm (boring) most of visitors are senior citizens, very limited menu for breakfast and if you rent a jr suite you will get surprised because Wi-Fi doesn't work, the pool might be closed and the service is not that good.

Delicious food although smaller portions. Very enjoyable atmosphere with live music on Friday and Saturday nights "in-season." Beautiful setting for the restaurant and hotel, tucked into the foliage and plantings. Worth the visit.

Exceptional service, constant attention, amazing food and live music to top it off. This beautiful restaurant is tucked in to the trees just off the street, but once you discover it, this hidden gem is worth visiting! The price is a little steep ranging in the 20’s for the meals, but very much worth the money. The owner and member of the live band came up and talked to my family during his break. Great guy, he told us the band plays live Friday and Sunday nights.

Standard room is small, but as expected. This place is well maintained, but that's not why I am giving it five stars. The restaurant, while pricey for Costa Rica, is real fine dining and worth it. But that's not why I am giving it five stars either. It's the staff. The staff is wonderful. They work hard and they treat the guests like family. Not family they tolerate, mind you, but family they love. I appreciate the staff very much. Gio, Randall, Ronny, and Grace, thank you for making Playa Hermosa a home as much as a holiday.

Nous sommes allé au printemps 1996. Les propriétaires étaient très amicaux et nos filles avaient 2 et 4 ans à ce moment. Le service était excellent et la nourriture aussi. Je crois reconnaître la jeune femme à la réception qui était une enfant dans le temps. Ça fait plaisir de voir que la famille est toujours là. Que de bons souvenirs!

A good option to stay in Hermosa. A 5-minute walk and you are in the beach! So simple! Pool and breakfast available. Front desk is located in the opposite building, but that's ok. No flat screen in the room. Good attention and free parking!

We were here for 7 days and loved every minute. If you go the bartender likes to call you Capitan. Tell Gary and Tony, two expats hellow from Gary and Carol.
