  Excellent locatio in the heart of San Jose and very close to all bus stations. The rate is very good 50$ including breakfast. the room has what you need for a short stay at the center of san Jose. Hotel is very clean for 3 stars hotels and i think with what i have payed, i will not ask for more. You get what you pay.

  Servixe is good, only thing, the elevator was broken and being on a third floor after walking all day, not good. Other then that, it was good

  For the price of $40 a night with breakfast included for a dorm, this place is great. Awesome location in downtown. Walk to parks & shopping. I had a 2 person dorm. This is downtown & can get noisy if you're a light sleeper. Bring earplugs or white noise playing on your phone. Luckily I did not have a roommate since they were not full. I was able to park my rental car on their drive. Just leave the key at the front desk if they need to move it. Only about 4 spots available but there are parking garages nearby you can pay to park. Book any tours in advance if you want transportation included. Renting a car is better so can explore the beaches & volcanoes. I will be back when I visit again!

  Hotel is within walking distance to main attractions in downtown San Jose. I walked (during the day) to casinos and central avenue and always felt safe. Lots of bars and places to grab a bite close to the hotel, but nothing too fancy. I didn't like the fact that the room didn't have a widow, also the bed was kinda hard, but it was good enough for me. Other than that, staff were more that friendly and always looked out to help me or answer any questions I had.

  The hotel staff was amazing. They were very attentive and brought towels and food to our room within minuets. The downside to this hotel is the location. Although it is close to mainstream hotels such as the holiday inn, and the museums it seemed a bit unsafe and was a reason why I decided to move my family to a different location. It seems perfect for a quick over the night stay and for young travelers and-or experienced travelers

  Cocoon is a hit or miss due to the location but please don't let their location fool you this Hotel is priced cheaper and is a bang for your buck. If you want a cheap trip to CR in the San Jose area book here. Stayed 4 out of 18 visits since 2012

  I don't have enough words to explain how great the staff at this hotel is. I came here with developing serious health concern which we informed staff about. They arranged trip to the hospital for me for free, helped with late breakfast and made sure they fulfilled any other requests I had 100%. Every time I met any employee here he / she would ask if I feel better. Amazing attitude and hospitality! The hotel itself is very nice too. For the price and location I would call it exceptional. Definitely recommend to everyone!
