Very good hotel to stay next to san jose airport. Each room is diferent with a watet fountain and small balcony. Also a ceiling fan.

A wonderful surprise on our first night in Costa Rica to enjoy such an elegant and comfortable setting. We were so impressed. Everything was as the reviews stated and the staff was incredibly professional and helpful. Gourmet dining experience at dinner and breakfast, and again, incredibly elegant. Fresh orchidsit was just the perfect introduction to Costa Rica. Highly recommend a night or two here! Not just an airport hotel!

we had dinner here last night. this place was amazing. the ambiance was very cozy and soothing. the staff was super friendly to us and offered us their suggestions on what we could eat for value for our money. the restaurant was very clean. the food was delicious.we ordered something extra that wasn't on the menu and the chef was happy to make it for us.

Beautiful hotel in immaculate condition and spotlessly clean. The room had its own mini garden and waterfall with chairs outside to relax and read a book. The bar and breakfast area are in an open air courtyard and the food is incredible. The staff couldn’t have been nicer. It’s about a 15 min walk to down town SJ.

Great hotel, or room has a nice view over the valley despite being on the bottom floor, the staff cannot do too much to help, the food is very good and having a micro brewery on site is a plus

Extreme nice hotel. Approx 2.5 km from town centre. Rooms immaculately clean and furnishings faultless. Restaurant's dinner menu excellent.
Had room 7 which was quirky as it had an indoor garden as a seating area. From what we saw on our short stay was that all rooms overlooked an indoor patio area.
Definitely worth the money. Early start so can not comment on breakfast.

Easily one of the best meals I have had anywhere. The chef is to be applauded, the inventiveness of the dish (I had the duck my wife had the steak) the perfect way it was presented; the service and the atmosphere were impeccable and quite frankly this was not over priced. The only drawback for me was there was not a sommelier on staff and for a fine dining establishment there should always be a sommelier. That said, this is a must visit and must eat place. Try the house pate it was unctuous. Espectacular!!!!

This is probably one of the best places that I have been to in Costa rica. Food was as as best can be and the service was out standing as well as the atmosphere was absolutely beautiful . I have lived in CR since 2005 nothing compares!! And worth every penny !

A wonderful stay in an exquisite and well maintained facility. A little pricey but worth every penny and the on site restaurant is one of the highest rated in the city and rightful so. The entire staff was excellent and the food!!

Great hotel with one of the best restaurants in town. This is a great place to go for breakfast, lunch or dinner. It offers an international cuisine however their French Chef has been at the hotel for over 10yrs and brings a lot of experience with him.

The training is for the restaurant. The restaurant is Old World style with open at dining. The food was excellent and the desserts were absolutely superb. Good service in a very good atmosphere.

Really enjoyed our anniversary at the hotel. We were greeted with a drink as we checked in and were upgraded to a nicer room. We loved all the little details that were not missed here. We also spent the evening at the restaurant which was beautiful.

Loved the colonial building with its attention to small details in decor and the little corridors and staircases leading to tiny courtyard with a fountain or pretty garden, or the roof top terrace with seating and Jacuzzis. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was off the garden terrace so was bright and airy. The room was clean and well equipped with ceiling fans and A/C, coffee maker and pleasantly scented hand soap and body lotion. Slept soooo well!
