Big place which was a bit of a maze, but a cool place to stay. 3000 for washing I think (you do it yourself, but they give you washing powder). Good for transportation links.

Probably the best hostal i have stayed in. They have a really nice bar and beautiful garden spaces if u want to get away from the music in the bar. Always kept clean and tidy but the most important thing for me are the staff, they are very helpful and friendly. They try to help with any problems and always have time for you.

Clean place. Friendly staff. Near the action. Good security. Big kitchens. Lots of spaces to lounge. Full comprehensive breakfast available. Way better than other hostels I stayed in Chilé.

The location of the hostel is great. It is near nice neighborhoods (such as the Italian neighborhood), near a nice coffee bar and also very near the metro.
The rooms and the breakfast are fine. The hostel provides a lot of information about where you can go and how to get there.response / report this review -

Great location near Baquedano Metro. The hostel is huge so pay attention on your way not to get lost inside it. Bathrooms were ok but the breakfast was definitely the downside, it almost had no options.

Just a short walk from Bellavista, the location of this hostel is pretty good. The rooms and bathrooms are kept clean. The beds are standard (slightly hard) for hostels in the area. There are multiple kitchens in the hostel which is nice because they always seem to have quite a few people in them. The only downside to this place is that you cannot bring alcohol into the building and the beer is overpriced at the bar.

GREAT and affordable place! Centrally located with good access to Santiago public transportation to every place that someone would like to visit. Helpful and friendly English-speaking staff (bilingual). Rooms are clean and hostal is furnished with modern conviences throughout. Highly recommended.

Location is near the subway. The breakfast was a self service buffet and much better than what's offered at many hostels I've been to. The staff was quite helpful, the beds were comfortable, and the Wi-Fi was fast and even worked in my room.

I asked for a private room for 2 and got a twin coffin instead.
I tried to enjoy common areas, but it was hard to do so since they were closed by 12 pm.
Breakfast was the only good thing.
The reception was a speech. We were never asked about our stay. One night at 12 when we were having a beer quietly talking we were very impolitely invited to either go to bed or go elsewhere to drink. Seriously, if you were doing hotel business OK, you shouldn't have switched to a hostel.
Besides the fact that we had to pay in advance (which was the reason we didn't leave the next day), the welcome was not even close to warm. And a $10,- deposit for a magnetic key doesn't seem very nice either, specially since you're not going to give the $10,- back, but the local currency instead.
The "schop" was great, if you had it after 11 pm it'd have been better. The drinks machine was just lame and not offering alcohol was the icing on the cake.
Either switch to a hotel, or provide a truly friendly service, I mean, you're a hostel. It's for the young, you know?response / report this review -

There were little signs around the hostel suggesting to us to give them five stars on TripAdvisor but quite frankly I'm no fan of them or that site and besides this review is coming from the heart. A heartfelt review. Bam.
Despite being a lil out of my budget, my five (extended) nights here have been a pleasure; from the people I've met to the professionalism of staff all around to the throughly clean and tidy state of the hostel itself.
The breakfast is probably the most generous I've encountered and it has all the amenities and services, all the information about Santiago and the surroundings that a backpacker could ask for.

This is a pretty good hostel. I visited it with a group of 30+ people and they were able to handle the crowd very well. They were also very helpful in navigating the city and suggesting places to explore. Over all the hostel had a very good vibe.
The only thing that some were not too happy about but partially understand is that we were not allowed to bring outside alcohol onto the premises and the courtyard was closed after midnight making it hard for those who wanted to smoke.response / report this review
