Great location (near the busy Santiago, excellent restaurants and mall). There are three buildings, the oldest one is terrible but the other newer buildings are worth the stay. Good breakfast.

Strategic location. The hotel rooms are available in new and old tower (as at Feb 2018), which differ in prices. Do enquire before booking.

My experience in this hotel was excellent!! My room was comfortable, clean and with nice amenities. The staff are friendly, respectful, and attentive to their guests' needs. The hotel has a gym, restaurant, bar and a swimming pool on the top floor. It is located in a nice area near a big shopping mall which one can go on foot. The only disadvantages were that I had a little problem with the internet service, that it was solved quickly, and the other one was with the taxi cabs which are expensive. If you need one, I suggest you take one on the street.

Stayed here many times. Whilst the bathrooms in some rooms could do with an update, this hotel is generally of a very high standard. The staff are always extremely friendly and happy to go out of their way to meet requests, even when messaging from abroad.

Nice hotel, with good service. Some areas are being restored and this is affecting restaurant, very crowded during breakfast.

Elegant and Stylish. Great staff, and convenient location.
Update from later visit - Whilst the staff remain fantastic and attentive, the rooms are less than great. Second time in a row I have had a room with significant plumbing issues. Slow draining sinks and showers. Also, phone system is showing signs of neglect with one in my latest room not working, and unable to be repaired

Unfortunately, I have mixed feelings about this place, but it was two things that caused me to post. First, the taxi service on the property is WAY OVERPRICED. I needed to go somewhere and the concierge confirmed with the driver, and told me 8000 pesos. Though it was expensive, I took it anyway. When I arrived he charged me 10,000. He said thats what he told the concierge. (One is lying.) I took a regular black and yellow cab back it it was only 3400 pesos. SO, the hotel promotes the overpriced taxi for 3X the amount of a normal taxi.
Next, the hotel allows smokers to smoke right in front of their main entrance. You cannot enter or exit the hotel without getting a whiff of nasty smoke. Why isn't there a place for them? Some people are allergic to smoke, how will they enter or exit the hotel?
However, I will say that the staff was friendly and courteous and the room was awesome.

Odd setup with two towers that don't connect. I felt like I was walking back and forth a lot. The room was nice and the breakfast was good. I didn't try any of the restaurants.

This hotel has exceptional rooms at a reasonable price for intercontinental. Staff has a bit of attitude, but that comes to be expected in their culture.
