  Lovely peaceful location, comfy beds and a super breakfast, but rooms in need of updating - wardrobes and bathrooms are old. TV in my room was sideways from bed and if you open the balcony door you hit the TV.
  
  Kettle with tea/coffee is provided, however the only plugs are buried under furniture, or high up next to a light switch, making it challenging to use.
  
  Biggest problem is noise from the floor above. I experienced 3 hours of banging and thumping noise at night, so went to reception to ask for another room. However it isn't staffed late at night. A phone connected me to someone who had no idea what to do. In the morning I complained, but the receptionist didn't know about my issue.
  
  It's a big problem and a great pity, as the views and price are a good alternative to Interlaken.

  The hotel is clean and modern. The staff was very helpful and the hotel is within walking distance from the train station.

  The hotel was incredibly easy to get to from the train station and was a very short walk. Train travel to Interlaken from Wilderswil is free when you get a room here, as well as bus rides to Grindelwald. Read your information packet on hotel perks very carefully. The room we got was comfortable and had a great view of the mountains from a little balcony. The beds were comfortable but sort of strange as our large bed was two smaller ones pushed together. The breakfast buffet is 20 Francs and a typical European style breakfast. The staff here is incredibly friendly and helpful. It's been a good place to stay for exploring the area.

  Excellent hotel! Great service. Great rooms. The hotel is in a very quite country side and the hotel has a very homey and cozy feeling. Highly recommended and will stay again!
