The Cafe at the bottom of this hotel is excellent. The bartender is very friendly and the "mega sandwich" was excellent. My wife and I shared it - it was enough for two people. I also had an Americano which I enjoyed. We went back two days in a row. Very surprising to find this affordable cafe near some of the major tourist areas.

This hotel has two sections an old one and a newer one. I stayed in the old section. There is no elevator do if you travel with children and strollers it is a lot of extra effort. Another thing about the old section is that the floors squeak load. So if in the middle of the night the upstairs neighbor comes in late the floors will wake you up.

On the other hand the hotel is in a good location close to the lake and attractions.

Hideous!

Yes, hideous service!! Everything started out great with out waiter except that he left for the day before he served our food. Then when we asked after waiting over 30 minutes for our mediocre food she promptly blamed the miscue on the waiter that left even though we sat with empty drink glasses for over 30 minutes. Terrible experience and food for this price. Find another place!

Excellent food and good selection of wines by the glass. Good place to grab a glass of Swiss Pinot or Chasselas, most of which is not exported.

Stayed there 16 May 2012 - 20 May 2012. Wonderful room high up on the catherdral side. I was worried about the bells disturbing my sleep, but I always wear earplugs when I sleep while traveling. It seems like there is always something unusual soundwise to bother me. Nothing bothered me here. Wonderful, peaceful. Great experience! Excellent breakfast, with quality food. Very friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location. Would go back.
