It is a great location (that's the reason i gave 2 stars). You will find this hotel fab if u are a deep sleeper and dont mind the noise from the street below (it is in a red light destrict). If u prefer a quiter room, u have to be able to bear sleeping in a stuffy hot room. Trivago webpage states there is A/C but the hotel staff give conflicting responses and no follow-up. Room condition: wore down. I find the staff are generally not helpful except for one who came and have the window fixed.

Near train station but also in the red light district. Room was quite expensive, ac didn't work, rooms weren't well insulated from other sounds. Room also felt very dark. Bathroom felt thrown on. Wouldn't recommend anyone staying at

No central heating working, room was kept warm with a portable blow heater which wakes you up every time the thermostat kicks in.

I agree with other reviewers that this hotel has issues with the local "nightlife" hanging around after dark and making it feel generally unsafe and sleazy.

Our room itself was also unacceptable -- we were given a twin room though we are a married couple, and one of the bedframes was broken. There also appeared to be crusted semen stains on the bed cushions. Oh and we were charged tax separately when we tried to check out, even though it should have been included in the room rate we paid up front. Definitely avoid.

So far the worst hotel i have stayed in. The location is not bad as it is close to everything but the street the hotel is on is full with prostitutes and pimps trough the day and night.Having in mind we were two girls traveling it was a nightmare to get to the hotel at nigh as the pimps would start chasing us on the street as we are walking towards the hotel. We checked out early in the morning as our flight was at 9 am and the street was still filled with prostitutes. I asked the guy at reception if there is another safer exit as we are scared to go out because of the situation on the street. His answer was " well thats what this street is famous for prostitution ". I would never even recommend this hotel to anyone.

Clean, pleasant, and good for the money, although the location was just slightly unsavoury with loud, ongoing disturbance outside our window most of the Saturday night we were there. Able to fill up on a basic continental breakfast before heading into shockingly expensive Geneva for the rest of the day. The sauna in the basement was a welcome way to warm up after exploring the city for hours on a cold wet February day. On the negative, the en suite was ridiculously tiny, and almost everywhere was a little heavy on the dark paintwork (no amount of lighting was going to brighten it up!). Lots of cheerful modern artwork on display throughout the building though.
