Nice hotel about 5 min walking distance from the lake. Rooms are done up in typical Swiss chalet fashion with wooden walls and flooring. Prices are reasonable for the area, about 150 CHF. Accepts credit cards, had power adapters available at reception, provides a free tourist pass valid for all forms of local transport and the wifi works well. Not much in terms of view but definitely value for money. Rooms facing the street can be noisy at night.

Good value for money at this hotel. Room was spacious (I think I got a free upgrade). Good wifi. Friendly staff. I like the classic Swiss vibe.

Very interesting Restaurant I must say, we went in group and it was so so much fun. From the raw meat (had never seen anything like that before😀💚) to the life music performances (very entertaining guys), the big horn we took turns to blew., unfortunately almost everyone got it, but me🙉😂.

The hotel service was very nice. The only things that I would like to see would be a clock in the room and English subtitles for the television. Great job!

Great hotel, nice big bed, clean rooms. Staff were all very nice and helpful. Restaurant was delicious and the servers were exceptional!

I very much enjoyed my stay here. The location is good for exploring the city although a bit too lively for my taste. We only had one evening meal there but that was good fun with lots of Swiss-style musicmaking on horns, cutlery and a saw!

Typically Swiss in the heart of the city, minutes away from the lake. Restaurant quaint and food excellent. Rooms could maybe do with updating but are clean and comfortable

The restaurant was delightful, with very high quality fondue, and decent service. The folk band that provided the evening's entertainment was also superb.

This was a very exciting restaurant as it had three meals that were quickly made and allowed us to understand the food of Switzerland.
There were live performances that included a large horn and even playing a saw, (images below) this was very interesting and provided entertainment for our entire group.
This restaurant can accommodate large groups as we had a group of 18 and was given a large table for all of us.response / report this review -

As my sister wrote: The hotel's management and staff is heartless and lamentable. Yesterday my family was struck with the terrible news while on vacation that my grandfather passed away and we would be unable to stay at this hotel. Despite being able to offer a death certificate, the hotel refuses to offer a refund. It's quite atrocious that special circumstances like this can't be made an exception to their hotel policy. All we were told, "You should have read the special terms and conditions before booking."I'm disgusted.
