Nice room with beverages & kettle. Shuttle service eases a lot to commute. Nearby grocer. Reasonable rates, definitely recommendable.

We stayed for only one night prior to our departure from Zurich Airport. The staff was nice. The room was gross. Terrible, creepy blue toned lighting in the room. Everything was old and it felt dirty. The place needs a renovation ASAP. We bought tickets for the hotel shuttle to the airport, the next morning we went to the lobby to catch the shuttle, 5AM the shuttle comes down the hill and tells us it is full and there was NO space for us. We had to wait for almost 45 minutes for the next shuttle! We were never told that this was a possibility. We were lucky we didn't miss our flight. I slept with all my clothes on and did not want to touch the floor with my bare feet. We will not stay here again and were disappointed mainly because it looked clean online.

Staff was friendly but they don't care about doing a good job. Hotel was filthy dirty. All the hallway walls looked as of they have never been cleaned. My room was "cleaned" in the same way a child clans there room. The bed was made and the floor mostly swept, but no detail work was ever done in the 6 nights I stayed. When I checked in there was an opened creamer with the water kettle. That same creamer was there when I checked out. I've attached a picture of the bathroom ceiling covered in mold. This is the typical state of this hotel. For the prices they charge this is just unacceptable. I would hate to see the kitchen area where they prepare breakfasts if the guest areas look this bad. I can only guess that the owners/managers do not care at all as these are all obvious to anyone.

We stayed at this hotel from the 8th to the 10th of August 2017. Our check in process was really really awful. My husband flew in earlier and checked into this hotel a few hours before my daughter and I did. Whilst in the room he her a dog in the next room barking constantly. He mentioned this to the reception staff who did not seem to know what to do. When my daughter and I arrived he mentioned it again and they were really not very helpful, with comments like "we allow pets so nothing we can do" - we asked if we could be moved but there were no other rooms available. A lady on reception said she would speakto her supervisor and see if we could be moved to the Hilton up the road. She also said that the manager would come speak to us. No manager came and by now there were 2 men on the desk and one of them actually laughed when he said "a manager will never speak to you and you paid such a cheap rate we will not move you". It then transpired that they had the incorrect details down for us - only 1 person booked not 2 people and a child! This meant that the 3rd bed was not made up and we then had to ask twice for this to happen and no one was really interested in doing much to help. We only had decaf nespresso capsules in our room and when we asked for normal ones we were given 1 normal one and my husband had to ask again if we could have 2 - yet there were about 6 decaf ones in the room. The room is dated and bare - not Hilton standard at all. The next morning when we enquired about ways to get to Zurich central we were told to take a shuttle to the airport and then catch a train. The man at reception told us that the shuttle will be there in 3 mins and when I asked if they had a map or information on things to do he said "you can find these everywhere, I don't have any here". 45 minutes later when the shuttle arrived it was full and could not take us!! I then when to reception and was screamed at - the men on reception were rude and obnoxious with no regard for customer service at all. There is actually another train station and a tram stop a few minutes walk from the hotel but they did not tell us about that and according to them it is not their job to do so. The service was appalling and we will certainly never use them again and will make sure we inform anyone we know about the terrible customer service at this hotel and the really mediocre rooms.

I had a pretty bad check in experience, he was acting as if he was doing us a favor by letting us check in before 12.
And this Apart Hotel is outdated and not even renovated at all. There are no apartment features in the room, it's on the floor below and closes at 11pm— when it clearly said it's open 24 hours. What type of Hilton is this? ..with extremely small bathrooms and moldy door handles? Its not fair to the customers because it's deceiving. Please do something to makeup for the customer service and false advertisement.

While it is lacking in some amenities, it is still very clean and nice. You also have access to the Hilton resources next door, so that helps with some of those missing things. Overall would recommend Apart.

Honestly for me this is a perfectly great alternative to the Hilton, as long as you don't need any special treatment. Only be weary if there is hot weather, that you probably won't have AC in your room. Breakfast was fine, room was clean, and the front desk staff was friendly and down-to-earth :)

I stayed there in June 2016 with my family. Overall the experience was good however I had one of the worst check-in experience of my life. I am a frequent traveller traversing around Europe and Nr America and never had this kind of rude check-in staff. There was this slim/skinny guy at the check-in desk (dont want to put his name here in public for his own reputation but i am sure the manager knows who i am talking about) he was absolutely rude. He kept saying things like "you got this booking so cheap". He kept making weird face expressions as if he was giving us a big favour by letting us stay there. It was quite frustrating and kind of humiliating. I wanted to talk to the manager, however me and family was pretty tired after long flight so i just wanted to get this over with. I was being nice in the beginning but when i felt that he was getting too rude then i strictly told him that i did the booking beforehand with correct dates and correct number of people so if he has any issue then he should fix pricing system.

I wanted to complain about his behaviour to the manager later but i was in tight schedule so did not get a chance. I was going through some of the reviews here and saw quite a few people complaining about their bad check-in experience in this hotel so seems lile there is a pattern. Except that guy all the other staffs were friendly (specially the manager) however due to that humiliating check-in experience i would never stay in this hotel again. Thanks.

Great budget hotel. 3 minute walk to the other Hilton for evening meal, which is not ideal but food was worth the walk.
