Room and amenities are a bit antiquated compared to other hotels though the breakfast is decent. Two points to mention about hotel. First is ghe door is not sound proof at all. My first night there I coukd hear other guests shouting and slamming doors late in the night. My second night I could hear a female guest in the throes of love (or just really likes to moan to music?) just two rooms away from mine. So light sleepers beware. Second thing is the front desk staff seem somewhat uninterested in providing customer service. When I was having ongoing key issues, the response from the front desk gave me the impression that key issues are quite normal. Overall, I plan to give this hotel a miss the next time I need one while in Zurich.

Formerly known as Hotel Senator, this was the first hotel my new bride and I stayed in during our honeymoon in June 2002. We loved the amazing breakfast served here and had so much lovely bratwurst & bockwurst. A lovely and quaint place located near transport, educational institutes, different cafes & cuisines, and a cinema.

Very bad experience in the hotel. The hotel does not even provide a complimentary water bottle in the room and when asked surprisingly they suggest me to drink tap water!! The kettle is provided but no plug in..it’s my mistake I should have seen the reviews before booking. Not recommended at all.

Quite disappointing hotel, moquette very dirty and dusty surfaces. Supposed to be new and modern, seems old & not properly maintained, hard to imagine this as a 4 star hotel. Overall I gave 3 stars as the price was quite good for Zurich and location was ok too.

Perfect location, quick access to the train-station Hardbrücke and from there you are in 11min. at the airport checkin. Urban neighborhood, with active nightlife and still quiet. The charming front desk welcomes you to a clean and comfortable business Hotel.

Very clean and modern room, great comfy bed and everything you expect to be provided. Only downsides would be the size of the room and that it lacks a little character. New is ok but it's all very stark and cold. Also had some challenges with a window and blind which seems to have a mind of its own which can be really annoying at times! Overall though a great place to stay in a good location.

Room was really modern and clean. Large number of plugs/outletd which is useful if you have plenty of devices to charge. Bathroom doesn't lock and the door is made of (frosted) glass, so it's perfect for solo travellers or couples, otherwise be warned.

it was a 4 stars, new declassified to 3 stars, still, I would rate it 2 stars. too little room, little bathroom, basic things, uncomfortable bed. I was lucky enough to have found kind personnel at the hotel desk and bar
