I' at this moment staying in this hotel (actually I booked a room in another hotel nearby but for some reason I hot an upgrade ans could spend the night at Mercure without further costs. So far everything looks very clean, has everything I need and coffee an tea are free. The room is small but as I'm only staying one night is perfect.

The hotel is a little bit old but the stuff is nice. The Nespresso coffe and the kettle in the room is a good point. The location is also good.

Receptionists can be more friendly and polite in tone.
Also, i didn't get much help on travel and tourism from these people as if they don't live in this city. That was really disappointing ):
Food, neat and hygeinic rooms with very polite maids and tram stop just outside the hotel.response / report this review -

The reasons for the 5 star rating are as follows: modern with nice amenities, extremely clean, design and decor in rooms well done, tram across the street so it was very easy to access areas of interest in Zurich, but most of all the friendly and helpful staff at reception. Very kind to this single female tourist who needed assistance in several matters. At no time did they make me feel ignorant, and they had a great sense of humor as well. Grocery store, convenience store, pharmacy, bakery and restaurants all within minutes walk. Highly recommend this hotel
