The location was great for exploring the shops, the pier, and the festival of lights on the harbour. I was glad for the coffee maker and microwave in the room. The pool area was acceptable, though the timer on the hot tub took several minutes to start, and there was no way to know there were pool towels available in the adjacent washrooms. Unfortunately, our room's bathroom fan sounded like an idling transport truck, there were no towel racks or hooks in the bathroom, you had to reach behind you to get toilet paper when on the toilet, there were no drawers to place your clothes, and the room with a view had windows with a broken seal making it hard to see the view through the moisture.

Very nice hotel. Gorgeous view and a really delicious restaurant to boot. The rooms are a bit small but that is really the only complaint I have. If you're looking for an inexpensive place to stay while you're in Burlington, look no further than here.

The hotel was very beautiful. Checking in was effortless. The room given to us was very bad. It was a corner room on ground floor. The room itself was beautiful. The window was facing the patio of the restaurant attached; noise is an issue. You could hear people's conversations and chairs dragging across the floor. You could also hear everything from the washroom (I think the vent leads to the patio). When I say the patio is right outside our window, the patio was level with our room, our room being on ground floor. Therefore, the guests dining in is literally an arms reach away, meaning they could look inside. Privacy was also an issue. We did close the blinds, but why would I want to live in a dark room? Being unsatisfied, my fiancé returned to concierge for relocation. Paula was very unhelpful. She told us all rooms were booked and there's nothing she could do. I told her I knew there were rooms currently unoccupied (we checked in before 4pm, it is impossible for all rooms to be occupied). She said the noise wouldn't last all night and it would eventually stop. We returned to the room and the noise was very annoying. I returned to front desk again and requested for a relocation; she declined again. I told her I knew there is always something she could do (3 times). After the 3rd time, Paula rolled her eyes and stomped towards the back room. Her superior came out and was very kind and helpful. She (I did not catch her name) stated that she is switching my room with another guest that hasn't checked in yet. She then told us that if there's a complaint, we should return immediately and tell concierge. I told her that I complained to Paula and she didn't help me. Like i said, there is always something you could do. We were relocated to a smaller, but much more peaceful room. It shouldn't be difficult to resolve and guest's issue. In the washroom of the new bedroom, we found a previous guest's sports bra hanging behind the door. Ice maker was supposed to be on the 2nd floor. Nowhere to be found. Breakfast set up was inconvenient for short people. Some food was on the high counter (all hot food were on the high counter /table). I witnessed an older woman below 5 feet trying to reach for hot food and almost injured herself. A man and myself had to assist her with obtain her foods. I'm 5 feet tall, I was in my toes and it was still hard to reach. Keep in mind the hot waffle iron is on counter top. It's a nice hotel in a great location. I would return again just as long as the staff is nice.

    Great experience.

Always stay here while working with the Canadian Coast Guard.

Always attentive staff, rooms have been re done and the views are beautiful of Lake Ontario.

They need a maintenance guy during the night though.

    Thanks guys!

Location is pretty good, there's plenty of stuff nearby. Beautiful lakefront area directly outside. Rooms are quite clean and nicely appointed. Unfortunately the front desk doesn't seem to know the area very well. They didn't seem to know that there was a 24h grocery nearby, and when I asked about a place to get a wedding card they pointed me to the dollar store rather than the massive mall that was 7 minutes away. Stay there, but use Google maps for any questions you have.

This hotel is very nice. Recently renovated in 2016. They have breakfast included with the room. It is a mixture of cereals, breads, pre-made omelettes and sausage. It also has coffee and juices. The room was quiet. The hotel sits right along Lake Ontario. It is a beautiful setting.

Nice clean hotel. Breakfast was good, views were also great. Only thing I'd change would be the cheap 1 ply toilet paper.

We took the highest price room we paid more than 200$ for a jacuzzi in a king size "corner view" room. View was on the parking lot!!!! Just small portion on the lake not a CORNER AT ALL!!! Reception didn't bother to ask about our stay was very cold and not cooperative!!!!Jacuzzi was dirty very old humidity was a lot in the room no proper ventilation for the jacuzzi. NO ROOM SERVICE!!!! We asked for a water they refused to bring us any they asked us to go down to reception to get water!!!!! Fridge doesn't work at all!!!! Pillows are horrible!!!!! The AC was very loud and very old. No toothpaste or tooth brushes no earbuds no face tissues!!!!!! No hot water half of the day!!!! No baggage assistants. It was horrible experience hotel. Breakfast was just normal. TOTALLY OVER RATED. I BELIEVE GOOD REVIEWS ARE FAKE.

Room was OK but bathroom not as clean as I would expect. No one greeted on arrival. Had to wait 10 mins to check in. No corkscrews in rooms, so you have to go to the bar to get someone to go up to your room with you to open a bottle. Staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant food was OK but not great. Great views from rooms. Potential to be a great place.

I stayed here for work. Check in was quick and easy. The room is spacious and the bathroom is nice and clean. Some of the tv channels are scrambled. The breakfast is great and I've slept better here than at other hotels in the area, maybe the mattress, maybe other factors. The area is great, water on one side downtown on the other with one 12th of places to eat and walk around.

Don't be fooled by the modern look of this hotel. This is one of the worst hotels in the Halton region. They double charged for a 2 night stay, even when we booked through our corporate selections. The room we stayed had a buzzing sound from the wall outlets and it was impossible to sleep or switch rooms because they said it was at full capacity (room 215). The staff has no passion to serve anybody at all. Will be getting in contact with the General Manager (Jenny Wilkins) as she was not there while we stayed. Updated review pending.
