The stylist that cut my hair for 26 years has retired and I was a little apprehensive about another person cutting my hair. Steve does an awesome job cutting hair. MY son now also gets his haircut by Steve and my son comments that he really likes the job Steve on his hair. This coming from someone who, a year a go, could care less what his haircut looked like. I would recommend Steve to cut hair for anyone of any age.

There aren't many things I hunt for that are the best of the town, but a haircut is one of them. Steve goes the whole nine yards, but does so with reserved, authentic class. Espresso, conversation, and the satisfaction the barbers and stylists hold in their trade is tangible. Keep rocking with modest style, Uomo!

Saw that this place had good reviews so I thought I'd give it a try. NO REGRETS! The stylist gave me what I think is the best side fade I've ever gotten. These guys are professionals who know what they're doing. The price for a haircut is slightly higher than some other places but the premium price for a premium experience and haircut is definitely worth it.

This is by far the best barber shop.
The only TRUE barber I have ever seen.
Steve has great skills with scissors and a razor!
If I could give this place five stars every time I left I would. I have NEVER left this barber shop not looking great! Love this place. BEST CUT IN THE WORLD!!

I can't say enough about the service and haircuts that Steve provides at Uomo. I have so many cowlicks in my hair that when my hair grows out I look like a failed mad scientist, and for years have not been satisfied with haircuts at other places. A couple of days after leaving other barber's, my hair would stick out in ten different directions, none of them intended. After leaving Steve's chair, I'm happy right after, ten days later, right up until I get my next haircut. Get your haircut at Uomo. Do it.

My only complaint is you can not add more stars to this wonderful person and barber. I walked in, solely based on the google reviews. My visit was comfortable, honest and stimulating. He is a master communicator and even a better barber. Add the two up and you have a 1st class establishment that sets itself apart from the other barbers in town. A true artist at his profession with genuine interest in your desired cut. Steve was the only barber I have been to that stopped half way through and asked my thoughts. Most barbers ask after they have cut too much off. Steve cut half way then proceeded after my input. Absolutely perfect, my go to barber for life!

I've tried damn near every barbershop in Victoria from the overpriced hipster ones to the cheap old school guys who probably should have retired 15 years ago, until finally I arrived upon Steve at Uomo. The first time he cut my hair it was so fast that I thought there was no way he did a good job. But when I looked in the mirror it was possibly the best cut I've ever had which boggled my mind. I soon realized that he is just so highly trained and has been doing it so long, that he is a master of his trade. I was so used to setting up shop in the chair for what felt like an eternity as the barber constantly had to square things up and go back and fix things, that I never realized it was possible for someone to be so skilled that they could probably knock out a top notch cut in their sleep. It's like the difference of watching a home cook vs a professional chef chop vegetables! On top of that his knowledge of hair and products is crazy. I think he even refers to himself as a "hair geek." I have had struggles with oily hair and he taught me to majorly decrease how much I shampoo my hair to restore the natural balance back to my scalp and it totally worked. He is also just an all-around awesome guy to chat with and always has sports going on the TV and espresso & tea at the ready. So as you can probably tell, I highly recommend Uomo to anyone looking for an extremely solid barber that will never disappoint!!

Ever since I discovered this place, I haven't wanted to get my hair cut anywhere else. Steve is incredibly good at what he does. I can always be assured that every time I come in, I'll leave with a great looking cut that will continue to look good as it grows out. I don't need to say much, Steve just gets it.

Steve is very friendly and personable, but he also knows when to let his customers relax if they don't feel like chatting.

Great place. I highly recommend it.
