This is a true gem. When travelling to Victoria I make sure that I make a stop at Floyd's. It's got great food, large portions and amazing staff. Only finished my plate on one occasion, any left overs are packed up and offered to the homeless who also get the exprience:)

Delightful local diner with all the flair and pizzazz you need to perk you up. Probably the best service I've ever experienced, everyone was wonderfully upbeat and friendly. We were in a bit of a rush so they made sure they were quick with our orders and even suggested letting us pay before the meal came so we could jet after eating. The food was fantastic, couldn't ask for more. Big portions, too. My only criticism is that the prices are a little high, but the big portions mostly cover that off.

Quite vibrant place! Enjoyed flipping the coin for a meal (even though I lost), but idea is cool. What I didn't like was that while we were waiting in line to be seated we were offered a cup of coffee, which I assumed was on the house for the wait, in the end just finding out it was on the bill. I don't mind paying for coffee, but feel somewhat ripped off just by the way it was offered.

It took my (corteous) waiter about 25 minutes to bring my French toasts. I ordered sausages on the side. Everything was barely warm. Yuk! I then had to beg two waiters for a second cup of coffee. Eventually I got tired of waiting and got up and served it myself.
The only reason I don’t rate this place as a one star is because the waiter wasn’t rude, and when he realized what has happened he remove the coffee from the bill just as I finished writing this review!
(They just earned a third star because when I got to the tilt, the manager said breakfast was on them due to all the inconveniences!)

I ordered the classic eggs benedict. The eggs were perfectly cooked to order and the accompanying potatoes were tasty. Service was friendly and attentive. Great place for families and tourists looking for good food at fair prices! Recommended.

Good food. GREAT service. Corey, the manager/host greets every customer with a smile - and an offer of coffee. Waits can be long on weekend mornings, but so worth it. Eclectic mix of drinks and menu options including the "Mahoney"; a $16 (double or nothing optional) surprise from the kitchen.

I love Floyd's!! I get the Mahoney every time and I've never been disappointed. I've heard lots of good things about their other food too.

Great food. Great atmosphere. My first stop after the ferry. The lineup is long as usual. They do offer coffee while waiting which is a good thing. The food is always very good with big portions. Never had anything bad on the menu. Their bennies are delicious.

The food here is excellent! The best part is breakfast all day! There are many selections for people with gluten allergies or are vegetarian. There is also an option called the Mahoney where the kitchen will prepare whatever they feel like and you will not know what you get. I do not recommend that for the picky eaters!

Floyd's is a pretty decent diner. Their aesthetics are tacky but the food is always delicious. Perfect for bringing a date out for brunch or for when the family is visiting town.

For most dishes you get a LOT of food. Each dish is around $12-15 in my experience. Coffee isn't bad and they have lots of really delicious drinks.

This is simply one of my favorite places in town to eat. I just don't enjoy staring at the decor. =P
